  • this is oh dee dope. the bass is in my whole body.

  • As an admirer of all forms of music that I feel exhibit some form of emotion and personality that reflect the artist. After hearing alot of dubstep that I just wasnt impressed by (I wont name names) I was determined to find something good and make a personal judgement on whether or not I like dubstep. I found this and a few others in this vein, though each with their own style. I like this and the couple others ive found, im gonna keep digging though. All this coming from a jaded metalhead too.

  • Heard this in a documentary called Wake Up Call!!!!!!!

  • Isn't oldschool Dubstep just Downtempo music? AKA Trip-Hop - laidback and easy going. Newschool Dubstep is more on the Techno/Trance side of things, more hype and hard then relaxing.

  • For example: Downtempo is about 60 to 70 BPM. Dubstep is 140 BPM, but because it is halftime, it sounds like it's 70 BPM. Though Downtempo isn't really a genre, per se. It's just a name for a time signature range.

    X

  • Yes kiddies, this is real dubstep.

  • People who dislike this song obviously dont appreciate real Dubstep.

  • Great song

  • bad quality gbut still nice track

  • This song is so fuckin boring....wow.....i was expecting something so much more lol.

  • wtf shit song

  • 240p iiiiiPorquee!!!!!??

  • a stone will be thrown at the state, and a stone will be thrown at the churches

  • Great tune, pity you don't have the video. The video is excellent but the audio quality is poor.

  • kode 9, 62 thousand views, Skrillex, 62 million views. Still know which one i'd prefer. I am not 12. F that brostep shit.

  • wheres the bass drop

  • @goanimator777 you are lost.

  • @goanimator777 You must be new here.

  • @goanimator777 Oh you lol

  • brostep is better GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dallasgangsta187 how old are you eleven and half???

  • can somebody explain to me what makes a track like this dubstep?

  • @ChristianWowk Get a subwoofer so you can actually hear the other 90% of the song.

  • @ChristianWowk 'cuz this guys a pioneer of dubstep. YOU BEST EDUCATE YOSELF!

  • @ChristianWowk cmon you idiot. You obviously have no idea. One of the pioneers right here.

  • @ChristianWowk Clearly this dude doesn't understand music, it's dubstep because of the tempo, and bass. It's not always about the drop, and believe me I do like my drops.

  • @ChristianWowk can you explain to me what makes Skrillex dubstep?

  • I started listening to dubstep back in 2003, but I like some so called "brostep". It is all in what your preference is. Just don't come crying when someone tells you skrillex is not dubstep, because the fact is....he isnt dubstep. This is proper dubstep

  • I can't stand this divide between Dubstep fans and 'Brostep' fans. Don't you think it's possible that some people CAN like both?

    I love Skrillex, yet I love Kode 9 :P

  • @samuel7897 nope.avi

anyone who likes skrillex is just full blown retarded

  • @keiththel34f Well thats just your opinion, and I respect it. Just like my friends who can't stand this type of music in general. Accept that not everyone likes the same thing as you do.

  • @keiththel34f YOU ARE MY HERO!

  • @samuel7897 No, you can't appreciate actual dubstep while listening to skrillex.

You can go ahead and rub against other dudes.

  • @founderofleadings *facepalm*

  • @samuel7897 Sorry if I offended the Brostep crowd.

I understand Brosteppers love to rub against each other in giant pits, and I've seen this first hand.

  • @founderofleadings I have to admit that comment made me laugh xD

  • @samuel7897 Skrillex is shit. Under 18s raves....do you liiiike?

  • i like this but kode9 def not my fav i like my dub really aggressive and fast any suggestions?

  • @tony19977 Excision , poseidon , datsik , downlink , bar9 , noisia , foreign beggars , burial , the mixes of fallen have loads of good songs , 16bit , skism ,bare noize ,cragga ... etc

    :)

  • Those bass killed my houseband cat.

  • nom nom sub bass

  • Soundtrack to the revolution.

  • It's funny.

I listen to Skrillex and a lot of the filthy bass wobbles and stuff, but I like this too.

    It's cool.

Not all the people who like the newer stuff are the same, don't generalise, shut your cake holes and listen to the damn music.

  • @MixMasterShyGuy Skrillex's basslines aren't really that filthy. Closest thing he gets to being "filthy" would be the Dirtyphonic's remix of his Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.

  • @Bigthingreg

Haha, is that because he has 'Dirty' in Dirtyphonics?! :P

Bear in mind though, what I said was in reference to the top comment here.

Skrillex was the first producer that came to my head because that's what the masses want.

I know he ain't all that filthy. xD

Though that said, he probably could use a bath.

  • @MixMasterShyGuy Same here, I was introduced into the genre through the likes of Skrillex and Flux Pavilion, but I still really enjoy this style, especially Skream, Kode 9, and the mixes I find on r/realdubstep.

  • You seriosly cant listen to modern dubstep and come listen to this....

  • idk how i haven't come across this because i love dub n dubstep, deep medi musik, deep bass musik in general. this is a kool sound different industrial beat. IF YOU LIKE KODE 9 check out KROMESTAR. there alike in many ways for starters huge deep bass. mad ill artist like these recognize. keep em' comin kode 9

  • The intro of this tune should be on the new hitman Absolutions game .

  • You know what I like about this music? The feel, the rhythm, the melodic intricacies, and just the overall vibes. But I also like the "wub wub wub" dubstep. You don't see me hating on either or. All you kids that think the original dubstep is so much better because it's the "original", don't forget where it was derived from. All I'm saying is don't hate music because you like the original better, give respect to all artists and music. Forget about who likes the music, and listen to what YOU like

  • @BlazeFlynn Agreed. People only hate on Brostep for a reason though. People who like Dubstep could careless about "wobble bass". They're here for the composistion and beauty of the music not some unorganized strange sounds which sound awful.

  • @BlazeFlynn Like a boss.

  • @BlazeFlynn But this is pretty close to that of original dubstep.

  • UKF dubstep if just full of school kids who fucking post stupid comments and tell it to their turds the next day in maths. This is the original dubstep from way back.

  • Damn, that's some low bass.

  • I don't really like that bass sound. But it is still the real dubstep.

  • Thank fuck for vinyl!

  • @DubslapProductions srsly aint no brostep on vinyl shits a crime against swagger

  • You know what I like about real dubstep like this? You don't get retards posting stupid ass comments everywhere.

  • @HeroOfLulz I was eating bread but then it was toast and my subwoofer raped my sister lolz

  • @HeroOfLulz THIS WUBS IS SO DIRTY I HAD TO TAKE A SHOWER

  • @HeroOfLulz OMG THE BASS MELTED MY FACE BLAH BLAH BLAH! THE DROP!!! OMG!

  • @HeroOfLulz "OMG THE DROP MADE ME WET MY PANTS!!!"

  • @HeroOfLulz

Exactly. Anybody little middle class twerp posting about how a dubstep song is dirtier then his nans colostomy bag or whatever should be banned from youtube. Perhaps the country too.

  • so good

  • lame

  • real dub

  • so boring

  • @jackarveychilton go listen to skrillex or something, you faggot

  • @jackarveychilton you're right, now i have to stop listening to it :'(... fuck off

  • @Danjldub Er, I'm hardly a fanboy. Cos, I've been trying to find some decent Dubstep to see how it's come to be so popular. My research finally brought me to this video and the end of my Dubstep adventure. I've concluded that it's all pretty shit. Where are Andy C and Skibadee when you most need them?!

  • @MrBbuds So now look up Jazzsteppa, Roksonix and Torque & Twist

  • @MrBbuds Skibadee? LOL... he ruins every drum and bass track with his shitty dog barks XD Its all about Harry Shotta. He murks Drum and Bass like no other.

  • @MrBbuds If you don't like dubstep you probably need a better sound system.

  • @WtfThisSucks12

    Try looking up boxcutter-glyphic.

Then read the long comment a few comments down. Exactly what I am thinking.

  • @SOUNDSofINTELLIGENCE PS. Intelligent sounds? You've got to be kidding me. This tune sounds like something that got knocked up on an Atari in about 20 minutes on a wet weekend. If you want some intelligent electronic music, look this up: masterchef synesthesia

  • Absolutely amazing.

Proper dubstep, done well. None of that stupid noise and sound effects.

    Just chill bass and drums.

  • Soooo boooooring!!! Dubstep is shit. The sooner it's over the better. Where are the fucking beats?!?! I've just got visions of clubs full of young kids slowly nodding their heads in appreciation with blank expressions. No wonder nobody goes to clubs anymore.

  • @MrBbuds Are you kidding me? This isn't even Club music you fucking idiot. Thats new dubstep.

  • @SOUNDSofINTELLIGENCE So what's it for? Listening to at home? It's just lame. Can you point me in the direction of some Dubstep worth listening to in a club then, because I've been looking, and it all seems so shit and unbelievably dull.

  • @MrBbuds Its just music. music is an art form. This stuff connects to my mind... its nothing to do with clubbing or dancing also if you want shitty club dubstep check out UKFdubstep.

  • @MrBbuds dubstep is a pretty loosely defined genre, if you hear a tune you like and then find out its 'dubstep' will you just dislike it? you cant make a blanket statement about a genre until you've heard EVERY tune that falls into that genre which is impossible.

  • @liamjd1 its not that losely defind

low bpm with heavy base line empasis

  • @njipods that sounds pretty loose to me, 140bpm, bass heavy besides that you can do pretty much whatever you want. but then again some of the dubstep i've heard is more akin to techno, garage, dub etc... artists like burial who has a lot of non dubstep tunes that are still labeled dubstep, meh i think we should ditch all these sub genres (yes i consider dubstep a sub genre) and call it what it is; bass music.

  • @liamjd1 quite frankly iv been getting into a few dubstep songs but only because they sound (or should i say feel) auwsum in my car with a 15" sub but then i cant listen to them on a laptop so is that really music or just a massage? bring back D&B!

  • Enjoy the pasts dubstep then cus that where it's staying hahaha

  • No wobble. Ahhh, so refreshing.

  • Lol at people judging real heavy bass dubstep based on a 240p youtube video. Go watch some more UKFDubstep vids, the "heavy bass" on those will sound much better on your macbook speakers...

  • @iTonnerX

    Please tell me you're kidding.

  • A stone will be thrown at the state and a stone will be thrown at the churches!

  • Comment removed

  • Does this scare anybody? Lol

  • come listen 2 my samurai tune :)

  • this is far from classic

its shit :) but at least chavs arent ruining it by speaking

  • boring... nothin special

  • @DaJaake you dont knoe true dubstep then

  • @DaJaake You're a 10 year old who doesn't know dubstep.

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting to see the roots of modern dubstep.... modern dubstep can be divided into two categories though: 1. Actual DJs with skill who perform their own shows and music festivals and 2. People who put a warble and a wimpy bass drop into a pop song and think that makes it dubstep.

  • @kingbungay dude listen to yourself. shut the fuck up retarded motherfucker.

  • @kingbungay *cough* hipster

  • filthy!

  • This is deeper than hades

  • Do people check the comments on this song every day just to defend it from dumbasses who don't think it's real dubstep? seriously, just accept that people are stupid and listen to this fucking great song.

  • Kode 9 is a serious producer, lol these people who like that bassline wobble sh*t make me laugh, I wonder how many people know that he has been making dubstep for over a decade? silly kids on youtube, I'm out, pce.

  • @Wizee88 you said it, im trying to spread the word here too :P

  • @Wizee88 umad

  • @jake77713 mad? nope, just disappointed with the ignorance of some people that get cheap thrills when they listen to cluttered noise. why are you mad?

  • @Wizee88 i was just bored so i say umad

  • Isn't this more triphop / dnb ?

  • @chadeup no, dubstep.

  • @chadeup trip hop i can somewhat understand but DnB? How is this anything like Drum and Bass? This is obviously early Dubstep though... obvious Grime influences here too ;) (that that electric chord noise)

  • if a where going to a dubstep party and the dj spins songs like this then i would murder his ass . this isnt the real deal

  • @rickahboy91 yeah i'd much rather hear the exact same fucking bass wobble every single time, pasted over some bullshit fruityloops beat. why do assholes with backwards hats have to ruin every single kind of good music?

  • @misterbizzones 100% with you my man. Keep the variety alive. What you described is exactly what's happening in my neighborhood right now.

  • @rickahboy91 yes it is.

  • i dont see this as dubstep, where is the drop? the heavy bass lines? no, this isnt dubstep

  • @cloudzers777 you're a retard....

  • @cloudzers777 This has inspired and defined the genre. It's early, and the mainstream dubstep evolved in a different direction. You don't recognize this because of popular influence, don't feel bad about it.

  • @cloudzers777 Mate dubstep is not about that! i beg of you please learn about the genre! find out what it really is, stop thinking that heavy wobble basses and drops is dubstep

  • i dont call this dubstep wtf is this shit

  • @rickahboy91 dubstep at its roots

  • @rickahboy91 It's original kid.

  • I guess I don't know what Dubstep is. Or how many different types are there? This kind is much softer it seems.

  • @MDubBeezy this is real dubstep

mala,kode9,skream,benga,coki! they are dubstep! what people nowadays think dubstep is not dubstep those people listen to their so called 'FILTHY' songs high pitched distorted basses like flux pavilion, modestep, borgore, suck my bass they say

now wht kinda fuckin guy wants to listen to music tht sounds like someone's playing a steel guitar?

  • @MDubBeezy this is real dubstep

mala,kode9,skream,benga,coki,hatcha! they are dubstep! what people nowadays think dubstep is not dubstep those people listen to their so called 'FILTHY' songs high pitched distorted basses like flux pavilion, modestep, borgore, suck my bass they say

  • This would be a great theme for a samurai

  • @MysteryReiZero lol. Of course it would be.

  • A stone will be thrown at the state, and a stone will be thrown at the churches

    -Lee Perry

    learn it.

  • do ANY1 KNOW WHAT THIS ,MAN SAY IN THE BEGINING

  • I like the more dub dubstep, reggae influenced

  • @MrKiiza Are you kidding me?

  • @MrKiiza

    Go away. Now.

  • @MrKiiza To be honest I don't really like this song that much either, Black Sun is FAR superior.

  • @LiNaK37 Your opinion man. Listen to what you feel. And thanks for not being a troll.

  • @MrKiiza Then don't post on here. Leave. Don't listen to it. Just don't troll. It's annoying.

  • @iFusionZzGaming Forgot to mention Intex Systems' Deadweight for the sub drop department.

Bah, too much good shit out there to cram it all into a few comments.

  • @iFusionZzGaming And my favourite track of all so far, just because it is pure amazing IMO (it does have 2 drops of sorts, but it's bass right from the start anyway, both sub and mid-range) - DJ Primecuts' Itchy Naan remix of Foreign Beggars' 'Hit that Gash'. Another tune at the top of my lists would be 4corners crew - Ping Kong.

  • @iFusionZzGaming For a mid-range/agressive drop then probably: Koan Sound - Mafia, Tomba's tunes (Smokin' Killz, Choke on Coke), 16Bit - Can you show me what head is? and just for jokes level 67's Fistfucker. For a deeper sub drop, then Skream's Superfly, or is heavy duty remix of Pinch's Punisher. Most Skream tunes will do it for me, along with Tes La, Mala, The Others, etc.

As for the creepiest drop that gives the goosebumps, I'd give it to Goth Trad and his remix of Wrench's 'Recovered'.

  • @iFusionZzGaming Personally wouldn't suggest this for the dirtiest drop, it's a deep tune to make you think or space out.

  • @iFusionZzGaming You're supposed to jump from the top floor.

  • classic

  • @SwaffordJGP Not a Classic, a Legend!

  • oh no! i think i just wet my pants...

  • soundtrack to the revolution

  • mmmmmmm real dubstep <3

  • This song is amazing. Chill as fuck.

  • this is as chill as it gets IMO. if anything beats this it might be some rap, or some classic rock. i

  • @m4zv1ds type in 'Datsik- Gecko, u will be satisfied!

  • @smirka7 Datsik is so fucking sick.

Firepower and Nuke 'Em are my favorites

  • bunch of newfags arguing, defiantly some chill dubstep

  • i prefer dubstep that has loads of bass tbh.

  • @m4zv1ds then how dare you call yourself a dubhead!

  • @m4zv1ds get some good speakers and you will hear the bass my friend

  • THIS FCKING BEAT IS SICK , NOTHING ELSE...
