  • It's called the wholetone revolution... It's a korg m5 I believe with a whole tone keyboard

  • I bought one of these 4 years ago from yahoo Japan's auction site... Had it shipped. It cost me like $600 including shipping and fees.

  • really amazing one..

is this played in just intonation?

  • This is the best example of a Chromatone that I've heard.

  • this cromatone is korg?

  • briliant INSTRUMENT, BEAUTIFUL PLAY!

  • Very fine player. Doesn't matter what the instrument can do if someone can't play it.

  • なんか、いい曲。。。。

  • That is one helluva typewriter.

  • The point of music is not to impress other musicians. This is a instrument with a new approach to the western 12 tone system, and very utilitarian. It seems like it would allow for different approaches for composition, especially jazz.

  • This instrument is not as good as a real piano.

    Piano is usually played blindly.

And Without any protruding notes, accuracy is lost.

I've yet to find any impressive classical (Bach, Chopin, Liszt etc.) played on this instrument.

It just can't compete with the piano.

  • Compete I thought this was about music

  • As a keyboardist, I'm interested to find the best instrument possible.

  • as a musician, I'm interested to find the best sound possible.

  • as a producer, i´m interested to make the best song possible.

  • as a drummer, I'm as amazed as possible.

  • That was beautiful... and amazing...

  • That's a strange looking keyboard, looks complicated. Great playing by the way.

  • Holy crap. that song is beautiful. im a piano player, and that keyboard looks so much better that a piano. ive done some research. i want one of those keyboards!!!!

  • Unbelievable!! This keyboard needs to be much better known in the US.. Except for the fact we are frozen in tradition and good ideas are lost, this is more versatile than the standard keyboard. 1. Post more on YouTube 2. Offer DVD's 3. Get coverage on Public Television or National Public Radio. 4. Get a sponsor like Discovery Magazine, National Endowment for the Arts or the Learning Channel to pay for you to tour and speak here in the US.

  • Inspiration. Such a amazing word if you really think about it. I think you hit that word in this piece, you really portrayed it in the way you play. There is so much variety and feeling in this. I love it! This is the first piece I have seen that comes close to inspiration, to me at least. Good job!

  • that was ace

  • that was ace

  • that was ace

  • that was ace

  • that was ace

  • That is one of the nicest piano samples I've ever heard. What company manufactures this instrument?

  • nice jazz piece

  • has anyone try to play beethoven on it?

  • There is a person who has played the beethoven a little bit of it.

  • I have never seen something as elaborate as this instrument! The artist obviously knows how to manipulate it beyond the shadow of a doubt. Great video! Thank you!

  • really Inspiration !!!!

    what is this??

  • Please see the HP in English version.

  • good music...too long cut it....in half...

    Impresive instrument as well.

  • I'm going to go ahead and state the obvious , That is a lot of keys on that keyboard. Memorization must take a lot of repitition with that instrument.

  • The memory is unnecessary. Features of these musical instruments are to be able to play it by intuition.

  • i think the point is that memorization takes a lot less work than on a regular piano. Because there are only 2 fingerings for every chord\scale, and those are inversions of eachother anyway and look excactly the same, just 'upside down'. As apposed to a regular piano where a regular major7 chord for instance would have a different fingering in all 12 keys because of the assymetry

  • Yes, but it it doesn't work as well.

I've yet to find any impressive music played on one.

  • @THEAMERICANIZER keep playing that old thing called piano then.. it sucks o_o

  • Hey how do you do that now gimme one
