Actually my theory is that he used a tremolo harmonica, the kind that has two reeds per note, 1 reed is slightly sharp and 1 is slightly flat, allowing for it to create vibrato easily due to the frequency interference, and more importantly allowing you to sustain through those long draws. Which I notice with all the videos you guys can't sustain the notes and I think that's why.
@jaste92 Since you have to play that F#, if you can play overblows, then you can play 5 blow - 4 blow - 4 overblow - 5 blow... This is for C harmonica. That is the easiest way, I believe.
@kikoliko I think it's better the solution, on a C harmonica, -6 -'6 -6 \\ -'6 -'5 -''6 -'6... But the overbens on 6 it's a bloody mess, i can reach it only sometimes. Although it sounds good, but i think that originally the theme was played on a chromatic, where is easy to play and the sound is more clear and good.
don't quit your day job!

@kittykatro You tell me that, after I did actually become a professional harmonica player, only to become bankrupt. Thanks.

The original song was played on an F harmonica. The tab is: -3 -3b -3, -3 3 -3b -3. This is the real deal. I'll make a video later today.

I play it with a D almost in the middle, it´s just 4notes (4th and 5th holes)
anvilsk8 3 years ago
it's a G harp, playing near the top, the 2nd and third holes from the top
