Using social marketing is very important. I would put LinkedIn at the very top. It definitely goes hand-in-hand with your third point of contacting your customers. Although you are in business to make money, customers will ultimately come back and do business with those who take the initiative in following up after their purchase and remind them of future sales so that the clients cannot forget them. Hopefully they in turn with refer you to their friends and family.
Good tips! Indeed, sometimes it's just so hard to keep up with the competition of big-guys, but I still feel there's a lot of potential out there for small businesses to dominate too. Even if small businesses don't have a reach as big as that of big-leagues, small businesses can still succeed very well by being their customer's "best friends".
small number of dedicated fans/buyers > big number of buyers who don't like to "connect" with the respective business
You have stressed the biggest points in customer engagement.
By using these different social media platforms, your brand is reachable any time of the day (unless if you have a hired staff to monitor your social media 24/7).
Very informative and we all hope that you'll share useful videos like these.
I don't know if I would say "intimidating", but it is challenging to get and keep customers. Probably, it's more of a challenge to keep customers. Anyhow, this was a good video. Now, I'm not gonna spam this channel with a useless "Good job". What was good was the tip #2 - engaging with the offline community, speaking at events, sponsoring, and so forth. Also, I liked the mention of LinkedIN for sharing information, most mention FB and Twitter only. Last, the speaker is a hottie!
