This graphics card came out a YEAR AFTER Crysis camout.Utter bullshit, it doesn't work AT ALL with mge or anything, doesn't work without fps at the MAXIMUM of around 5, the view distance on minimum and no water anywhere near my character or anything.

I've managed to get a consistent frame rate of 25fps with medium shaders and physics after some hardcore tweaking. It drops down to about 13fps during heavy processing, but it's comfortably playable all the way through, and it looks much nicer than the default Low.

ha this is funny looking at the game for me i have it set up on 1600x1050 everyting very high/high on DX10 with 40 plus frames always so no lag to how that looks its really weird makes the game look super old yet the graphics could still pass as a brand new game with pretty dam good graphics for dx10 cant wait for crysis 2

I have a pretty similar system, but the processor is my biggest bottleneck.

I've managed to step up my shaders, max out the physics, and add the drop shadows with minimal impact on the performance of the game, but even at it's fastest, it rarely exceeds 15fps.

@WilliamJValentine um i dont think you should play crysis with that system like that. not to diss or be mean but its hasnt been that long since we have just been able to max the game out with 60 frames. this game was made for high end computers but you could still play it but you need a new cpu cause thats the only thing that does not meet the min requirements but i think you should just do a new rebuild for like $500 for new mobo cpu ram and gpu you could play ever game on high settings on xp

It's running slowly because of the 512MB RAM. 2GB would double, maybe even triple the framerate. The 9600XT is a great card for playing this game at low res/low graphics otherwise, and you can't beat the 9 watts of power draw at idle ~_^

ricky, socket 478 is phased out. If you're gonna buy a cpu for that socket it's going to be second hand. I suggest researching for a lga 775 or am2+ motherboard and get a cheap dual core. For intel a e5200 will suffice and for amd an athlon x2 4050e.

The GeForce 6150 integrated graphics are not going to play this. You don't have a real video card. You need to buy one. I just bought a laptop with a GeForce 6150 in it because it's the best thing you can get for laptop gaming - and I am barely expecting to run Guild Wars in low quality. Hate to set you straight but the 6150SE onboard will play Crysis...you won't like how it plays it but it will work. Actually, on low settings it is rather playable. Lag is bad at times but it's playable.
