Normal lan play. make a shortcut to l4d.exe, and after the line, just add "- console" Host: 1) Enter console [~] 2) Type: sv_lan 1 [enter] net_start [enter] map [TAB thru list, enter] Cient: Enter console (~) and type: connect {ip address of host} [enter]

Create a shortcut of your .exe l4d file.

Then right-click: properties (on the shortcut).

There's all this:

"F:\Games\Left 4 Dead\left4dead.exe"

Just add "-console"

It will look like this:

"F:\Games\Left 4 Dead\left4dead.exe" -console
