when i was a kid i drove my dads 76 scout ll 2wd with chains on the back through all kinds of stuff! speed + chains + 2wd = lots of fun!...love your scout it brings back lots of memorys!...and JACKING...and winching and....
I'd almost rather go without the chains, if you get stuck on a rock or something thats not gonna help it will just shake you like a dog shitting tacks

If you have ever gone wheeling in the mountains in the winter you are bound to hit ice. It is more of a safety issue than anything else.

@VEMWMIKE Safety first!

now thats how you wheel the mountains in the winter! chains are the ticket, when you want to idle up ice!

i could do that in 2wd with no problems. Why do you need the chains exactly ????

Little boy blew......
He didn't even need the money

question why do you have chains? the scout should have enough weight and power to make it up that trail.
wopami86 2 years ago
Probably due to the cold conditions. Might have had some ice patches to deal with.
saintdude1 2 years ago
One needs traction not weight for snow and ice.
