I remember this one.. =) There was a rumour that you could recieve a G-sword in this glitch town if you found the wizard but I allways turned up in the middle of the sea
Nice demonstration of Freakytown. If you leave without getting stuck in the ocean, the side-scrolling battle screens are messed up as well. In those jumping sequences along the desert path, you might fall through the ground and die.
i knew that one ^^ you were lucky in htis one... there's a place (i don't reemmber where exactly) in this glitched town that gets you lost on the ocean in south-west and makes you unable to move :p dangerous one ^^
I've never seen anyone get out of that glitch before. I always give up and exit to the left which leaves you stranded in the water below the last palace.
I've always wanted to talk to a designer of the game to find out exactly what's happening here and if there's a reason why they left it in.
I usually get stranded in the water in the same place too most of the time... for some reason, it didn't happen to me this time. Odd. It seems to produce different results every time, but I don't know why it does...
Hey, old post I know, but I thought I'd let you in on the secret: exit the town by going out the left without scrolling the screen right first, before entering the door makes you fall.
You can then walk eastward, and use the glitched to get to the great palace early. I plan on making a video sometime, if I can unlazy.
