I love this performance. I love how she is always on key and tempo when she sings live, but you can tell it's not a tape. (I don't know if that makes sense.) Her live performances are just as beautiful as the cd versions, if not more so. Plus, she is so lovely. I adore her hair in this video. Simply wonderful.

@Gardoyle the way she sings horses is actually one of the reasons why I love her so much. Most people lose their accents when singing but she doesn't, which is unique, stylish and cute.

Its amazing how her voice improves every performance.

That's how real singers are, they imrpove with each performance and in the end their vocals turn out absolutely amazing.

But her voice is already amazing so god knows how much better it can get.

She can sing. This particular performance is hindered by the awful stage an equipment used on Jonathan Ross' show. She's better than other new female singers like eh, Diana Vickers(SHITE)

This is a decent song but there's something fairly lacklustre about this particular performance. The rhythm section seems pretty sloppy and the sound isn't great. Seems to pick up a bit towards the end, though. Just my two bob's worth.

I could imagine she's quite nervous as well. Even the best of singers can get nervous before going out on stage to sing live and be judged by a room full of people. I think she did a kick-ass job!

Looking at other live performances of the song.. it's the same with the others.

She doesn't seem to be secure at what she does live.

@rambomator You're right, she was incredibly insecure back then, she was so nervous on stage and had hard time controlling her voice because of it.

But if you look up her recent performances she is so confident and her voice sounds so much better than recorded.

She has amazing talent just that she was so insecure back then during these performances but trust me look her up now she is so amazing.

PLEASE ELLIE, RELEASE "LIGHTS UNPLUGGED"!!! My favourite version was on BBC3 on 10/6/10. You are Sooo gifted! All I want to hear is your angelic vocals, expressive guitar, with your friend singing and playing along. All that techno buzziness and faster tempo on the album serve only to detract from a perfect package. Your management and (over)producers were obviously trying to widen your market appeal; unfortunately at the expense of your musics' integrity. Still the best new artist for years!!!

I think she is really nervous i mean you cant fault the vocals but on the times i have seen her live she has never been engaged enough for me it was kind of boring.. But she is still extremely talented and quite new to all this attention so im sure in time she'll learn to let go on stage a bit more.
