Galaxy High is pure 80's nostalgia, all these years later is still hasn't lost it's charm & lustre, I would be a kid again in the 80's in a flash.

@superbro1938 It would but it would have to be very carefully cast and Hollywood NOT allowed to fuck it up like most remakes of old 80s stuff. Personally I'm glad this hasn't been remade in any format,. Theres nothing to tamper with those cherished memories. I'm still reeling from what they did to the Turtles.

let's face it we were born at the peak of American cartoons ( even if the actual animation was done in japan for most of the shows ) the shows had great story, interesting characters and memorable theme songs. today he shows either make no sense, overly educational or have no real growing story, just a series of one shots with the occasional 2 parter

Awesome show! I really forgot about the name of the show but I rediscovered it on Youtube. I was around like 4 years old when this was on tv so I forgot about most if it but for some reason this episode really stuck out in my brain. I think it was because the characters and the animation was so awesome. I definitely remember Beef and the party scene. This show is so cool, I can't think of any cartoon nowadays that even comes close to how original Galaxy High is.

Some impressive animation, especially for a series from the mid-eighties. The fact they animated a character with six arms doing six different things without making it look like crap is amazing.

Because it was a co-produced show between CBS and Japanese animation studio Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS), who also did animations for other US productions like Cybersix, Superman TAS, the Batman Beyond movie, Gummi Bears and the 90's Spiderman TAS. The best shows in the 80's were always the ones that were co-production titles between different companies.

Some of the best '80s cartoons were Japanese-animated, and the quality was even better than some of the anime you see today.

DIC and TMS were two really good animation companies from the '80s.
