I'm an Indian-American myself and I love this country but I love India more. I will NEVER discard my heritage just to get into office. The people here, especially in a stone-age state like South Carolina, can never appreciate outsiders no matter how legitimate they are. So, jumping to their tunes (converting religion etc.) is shallow and sad.
