Most black people renounce the Nation of Islam (doesn't make the slightest bit of sense) and Black Power Movements simply, because it only makes the struggle worse we need to see each others as complete equals, and leave the past in the past. You say that "black people have only had equal rights for the last 50 years. I assume you are referring to those "black people" in the U.S. If they were strong, they'd have seperated and isolated themselves from the rest of the white American population and became a great nation within the U.S. but as you can see today we do poorly in education, the state of the black family is poor, the povery is high, crime is high, and the buying power of the African American society is extremely low!

@WongOmowale I am referring to the self identified Jews that inhabit the state of Israel. The lighter skin toned Jews. I know Jew is not a race but the lighter skinned Jews do not identify themselves as white, therefore, to be polite I refer to them as Jews. (Kind of like Blacks who don't prefer to be called Negro even though Negro is not a derogatory term, we'd rather be called Black so that's what we call ourselves).
