A Cambodian I worked with, his son tried to escape into Thailand and the Khmer Rouge chopped the boy's legs of with an axe. Somehow he lived through it. I've heard so many horror stories from the refugees. Nothing is going to happen to these murderers. They're going to die in their beds like Pol Pot.

Every khmer life had been touched,some are left with permanent scar and trauma,the wound will never heal because justice are not found,some women waited all their lives for the husband,boyfriends,fiance,fath­er and son to return to them,there is no peace of mind.They will take it to the grave with them,some seek salvation and peace of mind in christ,some khmer rouge soldiers commit suicide overcome with guilt and shame..

Start digging for history past and remains thirty something years later,with every years gone by you have to dig deeper to find the dead and their remains.The monsoon rain,the mud and the flood washed over and burried them under.I'm very sadden that we couldn't get the trial started earlier,right away like the Nuremberg trial,a great many may never ever find justice.Two million dead you've only convicted a few culprits.

I stayed in three khmer rouge villages prior to the viet occupation,i stayed in Ta-Kowng,Po-Reang and Goak-Doang,you might want to investigate these villages also,search the bushes,you'll find skeletal remains.One of my brother and uncle was cremated in Ta Kowng,the first Khmer Rouge village my family stay in after the evacuation of Siam Reap Province,the monsoon rain,flood and mud may have burried alot of skeletal remains,alot died there.I was in PreyChrook province when the viet tank rolled in

I've heard it said that the trials are going slowly because the Camodian people don't want to dredge up the past, but from this video it seems that they do.
