great car....faster than average of modern cars. GTI mk1 wrote the history. U cant beat a Mk1 GTI with a V6 Corrado engine in! Mk1's rock!

takes most modern cars 2litres+ with a turbo on board to equal that... an old piece of equipment from the 70s. takes many bigger American cars more effort than that in excess of 3 litres sometimes more.

modern pish has ruined the road, cars are designed around women now, i would pay alot of money for a bloke to design a car like this again (adaptable, maintainable, fast, light, minimal electronics and not looking like its been designed with a protractor)
