Yeah, I can understand if you were a kid in the '90s who only had a Game boy or not any of the home consoles (e.g. SNES, Mega Drive) to play SFII on, but I could only see the Game Boy SFII as being a collector's item.
@stanupkal follow my file to win a new wii u! or 1 million dollars! or a pswii60! or an iphone! or a backscratcher! or a free trip to japan! or my booger! or a piece of paper! yeah not gunna happen! (do u still want that booger?)

We can also consider that in the game boy is also one other particular title of fighting game that called raging fighter by konami. And its way better that street fighter on this particular hand held! cooler sound efects, grafics, and controls that fit much better with the two buttons of the game console.
@waddledee1000 An HDTV(720p) but anything seems to look better/sharper. Genesis, NES, Playstation all have nice visuals, GBA player just has a weird blur to it. I can't help but wonder if it's a filter they have enabled only.

I had this game. It was kind of... dissapointing, it was playable, but after playing the SNES version it just wasn't the same. I ended up trading it with a friend for his World Heroes 2 Jet. Now that was a playable game boy fighting game!
@JollySilver Heck yea, there was NO excuse for this, especially from Capcom, and the time it was made. Look at Killer Instinct on GB.. It looked and played amazing. Side by side it looked like both games were made in different times on different systems, same for the Mortal Kombat on GB. Rare was the only one who got it right, Killer Instinct was the best fighting game on the GB hands down.
This is a very impressive port of Street Fighter II. The music sounds great, the graphics are great (considering all the objects and textures are actually there), and the animations are well done. Shame about the responsiveness of the controls being delayed. It could have been a perfectly nice alternative to the console versions back in the day.
That's pretty funny to think about playing SFII on a gameboy. Looks pretty impressive for the platform. Now, if only we can get you in Chun Li rehab. That is the cheapest pick of any character.
