@vadicus On the tail section I used the supplied adhesive mount. On the front of the bike I used stock GoPro Mounts with a little modification and attached it to the fairing bracket on the right side where the mirror would mount up.
The transitions were pretty cool too but you might want to keep the front camera on when getting ready to overtake through chicanes. I found myself thinking "alright, he's coming up on some traffic!" and the almost everytime, it switches to the rear camera so we can't really see how you setup pass. I gotta say that you look to be pretty fast and smooth. Your riding seemed VERY consistent too. Have you ever thought about running AMA or is a 200lb guy just too big to race motorcycles?
One of your best videos, Brian! Keep up the good work and thanks for the trackday vids. With someone like myself who wishes to enjoy a trackday in the future, it's good to get an idea on proper positioning and technique.
@TheReapersSon You are welcome and thanks for watching. I never pass a chance to ride Barber with SportbikeTrackTime. Great club and a great track make the 1300 miles each way well worth it.
@TheReapersSon No the bikes are hauled in the trailer. My bikes are not street leagal. I meant to type 13 hours each way. The total trip there and back is 1500 miles.
I like the way you used two GoPro's mounted both looking forward so we could see both how you're riding the motorcycle and the track in front of the bike! The fading effect to switch between the two is a good idea for sure! And I wish to someday have 1/2 the ability you do on a sportbike! :-)
@erikpeterson88 Looks like a Bell Star to me (I could be wrong but 99% sure) but I've never seen that graphic on one before. Must be custom or not available to us lowly consumers yet :P.
@erikpeterson88 That is my riding coach saying hello. Had no idea it was even in there. The helmet is the Bell RS-1 Born Free. Bell made that for our race team this year and we have them in production now due to the requests we had from folks. Look for it to land in December. Better photos are on our website now as well.
Great video man, very clean and fast!

The video was great, but the high squeal in the audio is making my ears ring
ambius2 4 months ago
@ambius2 That is just the way that bike sounds at speed. Remember that thing revs north of 15k and spends a fair amount of time up there.

@EvilleSV Thanks for that. I did my first ever AMA Pro race this year and it was a blast! I did a total of two races and qualified for both.

@barrydawson11 You can see the GoPro front mount. I'd guess the same for the rear.

@erikpeterson88 If I'm not wrong, that helmet should be the BELL RS-1. Not the BELL Star.

That got to be the best multi camera editing I've ever seen on a motorcycle. Simple and effective with time synched footage and simple transitions.
