  • Great video man, very clean and fast!

  • What mounting method did you use for the gopro? Awesome vid man.

  • @vadicus On the tail section I used the supplied adhesive mount. On the front of the bike I used stock GoPro Mounts with a little modification and attached it to the fairing bracket on the right side where the mirror would mount up.

  • Look like a really nice track. I long for summer.

  • The 1 dislike is from his tires :)

  • @Wobi05R6 Who threw me a dislike??? Man that's just not cool

  • The video was great, but the high squeal in the audio is making my ears ring

  • @ambius2 That is just the way that bike sounds at speed. Remember that thing revs north of 15k and spends a fair amount of time up there.

  • The transitions were pretty cool too but you might want to keep the front camera on when getting ready to overtake through chicanes. I found myself thinking "alright, he's coming up on some traffic!" and the almost everytime, it switches to the rear camera so we can't really see how you setup pass. I gotta say that you look to be pretty fast and smooth. Your riding seemed VERY consistent too. Have you ever thought about running AMA or is a 200lb guy just too big to race motorcycles?

  • @EvilleSV Thanks for that. I did my first ever AMA Pro race this year and it was a blast! I did a total of two races and qualified for both.

  • nice one m8

  • There's another Brian Van on you tube and he also rides bikes! Perhaps a relation? lols. Check it out! (Nice video man :))

  • Very cool video!

  • @PEDERSENP Thanks!

  • One of your best videos, Brian! Keep up the good work and thanks for the trackday vids. With someone like myself who wishes to enjoy a trackday in the future, it's good to get an idea on proper positioning and technique.

    Cheers!

  • @TheReapersSon You are welcome and thanks for watching. I never pass a chance to ride Barber with SportbikeTrackTime. Great club and a great track make the 1300 miles each way well worth it.

  • @Sportbiketrackgear

Damn, 1300 miles? Do you guys drive or ride your bikes there?

  • @TheReapersSon No the bikes are hauled in the trailer. My bikes are not street leagal. I meant to type 13 hours each way. The total trip there and back is 1500 miles.

  • @Sportbiketrackgear

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info!

  • Nice edits/transitions

  • @IridiumVIII Keep an eye on the channel for more in the future. I have some ideas for my next ride that should be pretty cool.

  • drag knee.. more like draggin elbow

  • I like the way you used two GoPro's mounted both looking forward so we could see both how you're riding the motorcycle and the track in front of the bike! The fading effect to switch between the two is a good idea for sure! And I wish to someday have 1/2 the ability you do on a sportbike! :-)

  • @LordTimelord Thanks for the kind words! When I did the AMA Rounds this season I was humbled with the riders at the front.

  • Awesome riding Brian "no doubt about it". =)

  • HAHAHA.... I love the part when #34 flip you off @ 3:00. Great riding by the way.

  • @stanleytang Had no idea that was there, pretty funny. That is my riding coach telling me I am going too slow...

  • love the editing. i may have to fork out for 2 cams now.. which cams are you using?

  • @barrydawson11 You can see the GoPro front mount. I'd guess the same for the rear.

    Dan

  • @barrydawson11 I used 2 GoPro HD Cameras to do this. Gotta love the GoPro's

  • So why did 34 flip you off at 3:00, Just curious. bad ass riding by the way. another question what helmet are you rocking it looks sweet.

  • @erikpeterson88 looks like he may have been an instructor, and was waiting for the right moment to wave him through?

  • @barrydawson11 My riding coach saying hello as I went by. Nothing like riding with friends!

  • @erikpeterson88 Looks like a Bell Star to me (I could be wrong but 99% sure) but I've never seen that graphic on one before. Must be custom or not available to us lowly consumers yet :P.

  • @darwin604 Its a BELL RS-1 Born Free graphic

  • @stanleytang I stand corrected :P. At least I got the Bell part right ;).

  • @erikpeterson88 If I'm not wrong, that helmet should be the BELL RS-1. Not the BELL Star.

  • @erikpeterson88 That is my riding coach saying hello. Had no idea it was even in there. The helmet is the Bell RS-1 Born Free. Bell made that for our race team this year and we have them in production now due to the requests we had from folks. Look for it to land in December. Better photos are on our website now as well.

  • Awesome riding, Brian!

  • That got to be the best multi camera editing I've ever seen on a motorcycle. Simple and effective with time synched footage and simple transitions.

  • @WayfaringWitness Thanks, this is my first go with the new editing software. I like the way it turned out.

  • @Sportbiketrackgear which software was it if you dont mind me asking?

  • Outstanding riding sir!
