you could get better fps if you took the anistropic and the other setting off your fps would be 3-5 times better than now that you have

I love my Gateway 6860FX...upgraded the processor to a T9300.and came last year with a 8800GTS and 4gigs standard. Amazing laptops these are. I play more on this baby then I do my desktop, which I probably won't upgrade this year, maybe not for a a very long time. Laptop gaming FTW, all the way.

Oh and STEAM and Valve ? Absolute best. If anyone hasn't seen, they are having 10 to 75 percent off games. Bioshock for PC is 4.99 and Left4Dead is only 35, which is a brand new f'ing game! Amazing..

dude it not about desktop gaming, i just got off highway 20 playing my gateway thats the advantage it takes 18 hours 2 drive through texas, gateway fx made that so fun your desktop cant do that.. and these laptops got more power then 90% of desktops being sold 2day and u know that.. so go get u one of these and stop hatin
