My Blackberry Bold 9000 review

this phone sucks! i had one for a year and half! the battery doesnt last for not even a day long. i am happy buying my iphone this week. :)

the trackball is a magnet for dust or hair... i cleaned up mine and i saw those sludge trapped inside

I have a bb 9700, with the bb-button i can open the multi-task-thing =P. But my 9000 doesn't open that. Is that normal? something with the configurations? what exactely? Tnx

@Hekkaaaa Probably.. The Bold 9000 not a good multi tasking model in my opinion.. If I'm on the 3g internet and somebody calls, I have to deal with the call first before I can get back online (there may be a way to go back online while talking but I've dropped calls by accident trying to figure it out :(

Did you try and open the phone and clean out the whole trackball?? It should work unless something is bugging the actual phone its self

@bionicgamer98 Since I have a warranty on it, I just swap it out for a replacement cause if it is damaged or looks like it was tampered with, the warranty is void and I would have to pay for another phone.

@djjuul2 Here is what I found out for specification comparison.. Bold 9700 & 9780 Height 4.29 in / 109 mm Width 2.36 in / 60 mm Depth 0.56 in / 14 mm Weight 4.3 oz / 122 g Bold 9000 Height 4.48 in / 114 mm Width 2.6 in / 66 mm Depth 0.59 in / 15 mm Weight 4.8 oz / 136 g Hope this helps.

I got the blackberry curve 9300 with os 6.

but i want a bold becouse of the keyboard and the higher screen-resolution.

but is the bold 9000 better then de curve 9300?

@iJordy91 I still use the Bold 9000 currently and I do still like it aside from the track ball issues..

I know nothing about your Curve 9300 so I can't really give you an opinion on the difference.

Couldnt you just replace the trackball because I know on my old curve I had to replace the trackball after about a year of use just because they get dirty and grimed up.

@yogiCebkk I would have but since I was paying for insurance and it locked up during the warranty, I just had AT&T send me a replacement phone free of charge.

@rvr2 yea I was just curious thats all because that is what I would do if it wasnt under warranty but that bold 9000 is still one of my favorite blackberries the new bold is in close 2nd from what ive seen cant wait to get my hands on one though

Get the 9930, its like your bold, but it has a faster processor, more RAM, a tackpad, touchscreen..

RVR-you should upgrade to the iPhone like your little brother. You'd move up almost a decade in technology. Plus it has a built in hd video camera with direct upload to YouTube.
