  • Todays country is definitely a different than back then but it doesnt mean it isnt good....ZBB is a great example of real country and love for what they do. But nothing can compare to the kind of country Alan Jackson George Strait and Brooks & Dunn make. One thing i love about AJ is every one of his songs doesnt come from thinking what would make a great song...No he takes something like going after being a country singer to Chasing That Neon Rainbow...nothing more special than that in music

  • I think there are a lot of good songs that are on some of these newer artists albums that dont get played because they never have the chance to be singles. Listen to Justin Moore Run out of honky tonks and Jason Aldeans heartache that dont stop hurting. I think those two songs have the elements of older country with that modern country twist. just sad they'll never be singles...Love me some AJ and George tho!

  • I woke up to this every morning, mom used to keep cmt on in the mornings while i got ready for school! People ask me today why i hate country, my answer because it's all shit now days with a tiny snippet of GOOD new country.......to poppy and not enough blues

  • Alan Jackson is one of my favourite artists. I also like Adam Harvey. Such a good voice, the two of them. Excellent songs as well.

  • Where did country music go wrong....? This is awesome! :)

  • i grew up with 90s country and is the soundtrack of my childhood

  • reminds me of when i was a little kid out at the deer lease. we would sit out by the camp fire and dance to this kind of country

  • Reminds me of when I was little and this song would play on the radio all the time

  • If I rock the jukebox and some inbred tries to slug me, he might just lose a hand.

  • Only Alan and George can make me listen to Country... I liked country in the 90's but this crap they put out as country is garbage...

  • I don't know if anybody has noticed but at 1:10 that is Otis Campbell from The Andy Griffith Show

  • @erhs1987 Yeah, that *is* him. He was portrayed by actor Harold John "Hal" Smith, who, unlike Otis, was a teetotaler and never took a drink in real life. He also voiced Philippe the horse in the Disney film Beauty and the Beast, and also voiced John Avery Whittaker (aka Whit) in the radio drama Adventures in Odyssey, until he died on January 28, 1994 from a heart attack at the age of 77. He is missed very dearly, and I will always remember him as Whit, too.

  • This video is GREAT! It would be better if that blonde bimbo weren't talking at the start of it.

  • one of my favorite songs

  • i think alan jacksons first hit was i'd love you all over again!!

  • Alan Jackson at his near peak. What I would do to hear this kind of music on the radio again. Not this gay ass Rascal Fags nonsense. Sounds like down syndrome set to music.

  • Great song. I wonder if this was Alan Jackson's first hit?

  • @crochetcatcrafty Nah, his first number one was I'd Love You All Over Again. Don't Rock the Jukebox was actually on his SECOND album.

  • is itjust me or does it seem like vevo basically taking over youtube. I mean seriosly.

  • how can you not like this song ?? 9 losers

  • I grew up with this kind of country :) and i miss this kind of country. I like the new stuff too, but nothing compares to good old fashioned country :)

People should be more open minded to country music!

  • Otis Campbell, on his way to let himself in the Mayberry Jail....at 1:10 mark

  • When I was little I thought he was saying don't rock the juicebox...

  • @barrelracer47 Me too! <3

  • END CAPITAL PUNISHMENT[GOVERNMENT-SANCTIONED MURDER]..NOW!! US, IRAQ, IRAN, CHINA.....WORLDWIDE.....

  • For those 9 people who dont like this, you can shove it up your ass, obvious you dont know what good music is .

  • doswell,va! 10 minutes from my hometown.wooo

  • i may be into modern country like Justin Moore, but nothing beats the oldies :)

  • This Jukebox was in my dad's old studio were he broadcasted his radio show. I remember this like it was yesterday!

  • @gabriel1201411 totally agree with you. Love me some REAL Country!!!! : )

  • is the homless guy an actor or did they pull him off the street?

to let those know this is a joke and not an actual question

  • @solcario2 That is actor,Hal Smith who played "Otis Campbell", the town drunk on the Andy Griffith Show back in the 1960's.

  • Whats that guitar. That you lay down and you use the slider with? Just wondering because it sounds cool!

  • don't rock the jukebox

    i wanna hear some Jones

cause my heart ain't ready for the rolling stones!

  • Love This!

  • YEAH!! Ronnie Wood.

  • hey that is ottis cambell from andy griffet show i saw bio in him he said he never took a drink in his life.lol

  • if country music was an old western alan jackson would be clint eastwood

  • @Hunkerbunker346 The Duke> Clint Eastwood. So who would be The Duke, George Straight?

  • @djking2d no the duke is john wayne

  • @Hunkerbunker346 I know that. You don't understand analogies, or when a person is being facetious do you? you called Alan Jackson the Clint Eastwood of country westerns. That's not calling Alan the best there is. The best is John Wayne.

  • @djking2d yes i understood i was being a smart ass

  • Im 13 and As long as I live, this cowboy ain't gonna let country ... True country music die.

  • @landonfvw So you grew 17 years by 4 days?

  • This was a great country anthem.

  • when i was 4 and this song came out i sworn to my mom that i was gonna marry Alan Jackson one day. lol

  • when i was little thought it was don't rock the juice box..

  • All Music has to evolve, country music is country regardless, and reba, alan, kenny, and all the other great ones arent going to live forever.lol. Underwood and Swift are just as good. They just bring a different type of country :) although I do miss the old country, the new country is good too.

  • love all the great comments and boy if there not the truth i dont think most people know what is anymore in todays style of country.

  • @Leffty99 Taylor Swift dosent sing just for the money. Taylor writes her songs about her self to so she dose live them. just saying

  • One of the best two steppin' songs EVER.

  • i agree with gabriel1411

  • Depending on what everybody means by real country... Real country to me is waylon jennings, merle haggard, willie nelson, conway twitty, bill anderson, johnny cash. Names like alan jackson, kenny chesney, toby keith, tim mcgraw, is more like the 80's to present kind of country.

  • @rougerealm

You are so right we CAN'T let Country die

  • @buddyismydoggie

    yeehaw man

  • @rougerealm

    ya

  • @rougerealm i would agree with you on most of that except p!nk she is somewhat average

  • @rougerealm lol real orginal

  • Pedal Steel by the great Paul Franklin.

  • @gabriel....what about Johnny Cash, and Wailin' Willie and Willie Nelson and all those guys?

  • @SaberMuslim Johnny Cash, is the fatter of country come on guys

  • @SaberMuslim Oh Yeah! All those guys were true country singers, they were the best of the best. People nowadays have forgotten what real country music should be.

  • I love The Stones and Jackson.. So we are all good! :)

  • I am from sweden. But i love the contry songs from the united states of america. and Alan jackson is one off the best

  • I am from sweden but i love the contry musik from the united states of america and aAan jacksson is one off the best contry singers i ever known.

  • This is a clone of TUSH,recorded by ZZ Top.

  • i grew up listin to this here song. its a true classic

  • because that is him man a cameo LOL

  • the guy at 1:10 looks exactly like otis from andy griffith show

  • @mypolaris98 it is otis cool am i right

  • THIS IS REAL COUNTRY. NOT THAT STUFF FROM UNDERWOOD OR SWIFT, THAT SHIT AIN'T COUNTRY AND THEY DON'T BELONG ON COUNTRY RADIO STATIONS!!! LEAVE IT TO THE REAL COUNTRY SINGERS LIKE REBA, ALAN JACKSON, KENNY CHESNEY, AND GEORGE STRAIT.

  • I'd put Toby Keith on the Real Country Singers list. I saw him in concert recently and man,did he kick ass!

  • @arhuxtable i have to agree with hank williams jr, who said that toby keith does for country music what panty hose do for finger fuckin =]

  • @08impqt i still prefer women in pantyhose

  • @gabriel201411

    thats a bunch of bull!

  • @gabriel201411 If Kenny Chesney is so Country, why does he sing about nothing but the Bahamas?

  • @MLGthugnasty I can answer that... where ever he's at it damn cold so the boy has to sing of sunshine.

  • @MLGthugnasty I agree, kenny chesney does sing a lot about the bahamas; but you will only hear his music on country radio stations as well as many other true country singers.

  • @gabriel201411 Sorry there bub, but Kenny hasn't been country for 10 years.

  • @MLGthugnasty fuck you sir

  • @jbub338 You mad bro?

  • @MLGthugnasty im sorry it was bringin back memories

  • @MLGthugnasty Word!

  • @gabriel201411 Eh Swift is alright sometimes but Underwood?...she's garbage to my ears.

  • @MurdocKicksAss Exactly! It always sounds like she's screaming in every song. Screaming isn't singing! Swift is okay, but her music should not qualify as country music along with other moder male and female singers, especially for the CMA's.

  • @gabriel201411 hell ya. if she was really country why does she sing about boys so much? real country girls can get up on their horse and forget all about em

  • @gabriel201411 amen i agree.

  • @gabriel201411 i love the underwood and swift! :) and yes they are country but no in a way they arent...!! :P but i still love them and they do to belong in the country gene

  • @gabriel201411 new kenny chesney is gay gay gay...

  • @cedong77 agreed

What the hell is wrong with all these new singers going to this pop shit. I turn on the radio and I hear Sugarland, and I change the station, only to find taylor swift, change it again and find the band perry, Finally I run out of stations and turn the damn thing off.

  • @gabriel201411: Well Underwood and Swift are OK, I guess...but ya real country is Alan Jackson, Reba, Chesney, Strait, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks and Rascal Flatts is not bad at all as well.
