Todays country is definitely a different than back then but it doesnt mean it isnt good....ZBB is a great example of real country and love for what they do. But nothing can compare to the kind of country Alan Jackson George Strait and Brooks & Dunn make. One thing i love about AJ is every one of his songs doesnt come from thinking what would make a great song...No he takes something like going after being a country singer to Chasing That Neon Rainbow...nothing more special than that in music

I think there are a lot of good songs that are on some of these newer artists albums that dont get played because they never have the chance to be singles. Listen to Justin Moore Run out of honky tonks and Jason Aldeans heartache that dont stop hurting. I think those two songs have the elements of older country with that modern country twist. just sad they'll never be singles...Love me some AJ and George tho!
