They had to take the boat off of the trailer, go into the water and physically lift the trailer off of the leadge (end of the boat ramp) and pull it forward, then reload the boat and pull it out. It was a long process, and unfortunately, none of us realized at first that the boat ramp dropped off so drastically and that the trailer was stuck on it. Thanks for asking:)

so american, you dont lunch with the back wheels in the water unless you have 4x4, then as soon as you get stuck you work out why. then when you work out that you've gone off the back of the ramp, you detach the boat, and float the trailer if necessary, you don't keep trying gun the car. And if your slipping around why wouldn't you put proper shoes on? seems like he was just showing off.

Well that's what you get for not buying American My F150 limited slip rear not a 4X4 have not had any problem pulling a 19 center console Key-largo with a 125HP Mercury Outboard . The problem is too many people too much boat for the tow vehicle .

Things can go wrong at a ramp...I understand. Most ramps have a large concrete slab which functions as the actual ramp....beyond which is just the riverbed/seabed..........& your vehicle CAN fall off the edge...The slab can be eight inches thick or MORE...really bad, as most trucks can't "hop" that edge.Watch tidal heights & survey your ramp, know where the ramp 'ends'.

the easiest way once you go off the edge of the ramp is take the boat off the trailer and try again. i had to do it once my first time launching my boat

Very funny. A little trick: If you don't have 4 wheel drive or posi-traction, you can slowly apply the emergency brake and it will act like posi-traction, stopping the spinning wheel and distributing the power to the other wheel. Doesn't always work, but I've used it.
