  • It appears to me you have been deceived by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman or one of his followers. Frankly, you are very confused about this matter.

  • I don't personally feel that the word spirit needs to be capitalized there in Genesis 1:2. The word in the Hebrew "ruach" is not a name or personal pronoun or anything, it just means "life, spirit, wind, anger, vigor...".

Tell me what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Interesting video.

  • What's your opinion of the Dake's Reference Bible?

  • @cryinglion

I have a Dake's Annotated Bible and I can say that you just have to watch out. He brings to light many great points that I never would have thought of. But some of his ideas are really out there. Measure every note to what the bible actually says. And use your mind too. Dake take's the bible too literally sometimes.

  • Hey, on that Cambridge you can take just a drop of elmers glue in the seam where the actual pages are coming apart. Drop it in the seam being very careful. Close it and let it dry. It will be good to go. My cambridge is doing the same. fixed it fine.

  • I got swordsearcher on my computer. do you know if that lines up 100%?

  • Blessings to you! I just wanted to leave my opinion with regards to a comment made from 16:30 to 16:40. The issue I take is about notes at the bottom while the scripture is at the top...specifically calling the study bible "God's Word". Why wouldn't it be God's word? Using this logic, then we would have to remove "King James Version" from the side of every binder and beginning page of the bible. Otherwise, King James takes credit away from King Jesus. Just an opinion. Take care!

  • Maybe you already know this, but the RRB is now printed and bound by Local Church and the quality is much better than the first edition.

Also, I found your video by searching for "Hoffman Bible" and was wondering if you had a review on it (Common Man's Reference Bible). The first edition's binding and leather is as good as the Church Publishers' and I really like the cross references.

    purewordsoftruth com

  • @id101010 Thank you for the link to the Common Man's Reference Bible. I was told about this Bible a year or two ago, but then I lost the website link.

I just ordered one, and will do a review at some point in the future.

  • The World Publishing Company is a quality producer of the KJV.

  • Wow! I just checked, and I don't know how that will happen, but I have a King James Thinline Bible published by the Zondervan that passed the non-counterfeit bible test, and does a better job than a meridian book version. The Zondervan version even puts up the Epistle Dedicatory. That's impressive to know.

  • Thanks! I recently purchase a mid-size giant print (hardback) from the Local Church Bible Publishers. I think they are more reliable than most other sources out there because they are a ministry that prints nothing but the KJB.

  • Also side note: The Strongs Concordance and other Bible study books are also being tampered with and haveing things taken out and changed. I was shocked that there's no alarm.

  • what about a KJV Thompson Chain Reference Bible? , found at the KJV store website

  • I have noticed another bothersome problem with at least some of Holman`s A.V. (K.J.V.) Bibles. They omit some of the marginal readings. All of them should be included all of the time. For example, my best Holman A.V. omits a marginal reading in Genesis which highly favours witnessing to the Kurds. Great comments! Generally, stick to the U.K. editions, one does better therewith than with in the U.S. editions, which do not repect the Crown copyright`s provisions for textual purity.

  • You are a legalistic idiot.

  • @Simplicimus1945 I guess I should be condemned as a heretick and burned at the stake too, right?

  • @husky394xp Great answer haha

  • God Bless brother...

  • thanks for the great video

  • Thanks for the information, I just recently found out and investigated the perversion of our bibles. I just ordered a lcpb bible!!

  • This may sound like i'm just being lazy, but doesn't it bother you that you have to turn the page almost twice as much in the note takers bible? You can only fit two columns on a spread.

  • I have an earlier Cambridge wide-margin printing... I think the full leather vs the bonded are better bound. Thanks for the tip on LCBP... I will order one of theirs :)

  • I am surprised that you would recommend LCBP's bibles. I have heard that they don't capitalize the 'S" in Spirit in 1John 5:8. I thought the 's' was supposed to be capitalized there.

  • you are a divisive man. this is very sad. where do you get your authority to recomend what you do. King James is my ancestor and the king James was translated to extoll the virtue of, The Divine Right of Kings to Rule. This is known family history. You will be judged for every idle word!!!!!

  • I looked up these amazing bibles I am going to get one great video great amazing bibles.

  • Are there any KJB study bibles worth using?

  • I personally like Thomas Nelson.

  • whats your opinon on ESV study bible?

  • If the NIV is "Roman Catholic", why does it not have the Catholic cannon? And why dont we use it in Church?

  • I have both Holman kj and Regency Thomas Nelson KJ are they Ok? I read out of the Regency KJ most of the time. it is giant print. The HOLMAN'S IS HEAVY AND BIG TO CARRY AROUND IT IS SUPPER GIANT. SHALOM BROTHER MUCH LOVE. ANNA.:-))

  • Is hendrickson a good publisher as well? I am looking mainly at National and possibly Local Church Bible because it is difficult to find some of these companies where I live. I need a list of good companies to get a cheaper $20-$30 bible.

  • What doctrines CAN be learned from the KJV that cannot be learned from the NIV or RSV?

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 The word "dispensation" has been completely removed from the NIV. The command to "study" has also been removed from 2 Timothy 2:15. Dispensational teaching is therefore impossible from an NIV.

The NIV has many thousands of verse perversions, and it comes from the Vatican! Watch my "Real Bible Version Issue Exposed" documentary for proof.

Why would you defend such a wicked book?

  • @husky394xp --If the NIV came from the Vatican, why do we not use it in our Liturgy, and why does the NIV have the Pharasaic cannon and not the Alexandrian cannon? And about the word "dispensation" in the kjv, since the Anglicans were not dispensationalist as you are, I doubt they used the word with the same thing in mind. I suppose the Greek could be translated a number of ways.

  • @husky394xp Please can you tell me if LCBP Mid Size Large print Bible has the 'self pronouncing' text? Whenever I find a Bible with the large print it has this 'self pronouncing' text which I find unreadable. Great video as always.

  • @husky394xp You can learn Jesus is not a liar in the KJV.

  • In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus is speaking of casting out demons when he says," Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Matt17:21. This verse is removed from modern versions and where this statement also occurs in Mark 9:29 the modern versions omit the word fasting. So if you read a modern translation you will not understand the doctrine of fasting as Christ intended it to be understood.

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 Look up Matthew 23:14 in your NIV... Its a corrupted bible given by Babylon Rome. Also check out Rev 22:14 in the KJV and then compare it to your NIV. They remove that we are to follow the commandments of God.

  • You also might consider getting your cambridge rebound. Can't remember if I commented on this video before, but I've had two of my Bibles rebound by acebookbinding and they did a fabulous job. They will even sew Bibles that were previously glued. They run about $79 for the rebind. For the cost of a new bible, you can have your old Bible with all your notes, with a new lease on life! God bless you and yours

  • What is the best KJV study bible in your opinion? And what is THE best book defending the KJV position?

  • Your link above to the Local Church Bible Publishers site yields a 404 error. Please consider updating it.

Thank you for the informative video!

  • @JDW26 LCBP changed their website around, so I guess that is the reason why the link no longer works.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

  • is a hollman family bible ok

  • Red letter Bibles are back.

  • The one thing I don't like about the LCBP bibles...at least some of them is this statement-"Our Classic Bible is a reprint of the 1909, 1917 public domain Bible using C.I. Scofield’s notes." I've read enough about this man to not want anything tied to him. I have an Old Scofield bible I bought before I knew of textual criticism and found in the front of this bible he highly lauded Westcott and Hort indicating they had "corrected the TR"...no thanks to that bible.

  • I do wish they would make more red letter additions. The only one they make, the wide margin bible, isn't my cup of tea. I do like the mid size large print designer/Executive bible IF it only was red letter. Just a quirk of mine since that's what I grew up with and always had. Maybe some day they will.

  • Do you know if the Ruckman Reference is a Pure Cambridge Edition? I'm thinking of buying one.

  • I appreciate your will to help now I use a scofield and Ive bought a Ryrie but what I really thing is that yo just tell a Bible junk even if its Zondervan we shall remember 2 Thimothy 3 16-17

  • Now i just ordered from local bible publishers i got the study bible with the scofield notes i hope its a good one i figured id go with the one that had yes on everything but to make sure all the bibles they sell are good right cuz im probley gonna start ordering the 8 doller ones for people im trying to get saved message me back thanks alot for the videos i had a friend a few years back that brought this up to me and now im finnally coming back to the faith

  • @theodorehastreiter You won't be disappointed with your new Bible. I have a couple and the quality is great!

The cheaper $8.00 LCBP vinyl cover Bibles are also pretty nice. I give them away. They work great for that purpose.

I praise the Lord that the info in my videos is bringing you back to a right relationship with God!

  • @assilvertried7x You'd have to ask them and ALWAYS check.

I have one which is #180-708 Handsize Text Full Grain Morocco which is PCE.

  • I have come to the same conclusion. Local Church Publishers is the best Bible for the money I have found. Thanks for the video. I am sure many people will benefit from your experience. God bless you brother!

  • Great video. I know it is impossible to include all possible options but I was a little dissapointed not to see thr Defined King Jamrs Bible covered.Local Church is an excellent way to go.

    AK Mike

  • I have a newer Cambridge KJV and it has the changes in it. Genesis 1:2 has spirit not Spirit.

Kirkbride who produce the Thompson Chain Reference Bible contain the correct KJV text but they have some of the faulty reasoning for new versions in the "history of the Bible" part in the back of the book.

I havent seen any of the more major changes in either of my KJBs so far though from that list.

  • Thanks for doing these videos.

Where/What is the link to the article you noted at 21:11 about the reasoning for some of the changes that should not have been made?

  • Back in the 80s, when I first became Born Again, I purchased a KJV at the advice of a friend. It was a Holman Publishers release. Unsure how Holman is doing now, but I remember the quality of the paper used for the pages was superior to the tissue paper used in many bibles nowadays.

  • I whole heartedly agree with your assesment of Local Church Bible Publishers. I have been using their Bibles for a few years now and I always recommend them to my friends (or even people who aren't my friends) . For the money you will not find a better Bible. RL Allan Bibles are also VERY nice, but they are more expensive than Cambridge...............Enjoyed the video and I am glad LCBP are gaining popularity among the brethren.

  • I have three KJV's that are falling apart now. The publishers don't actually expect you to use it every day like us. Can you gage one's walk with Christ on the condition of their Bible?

  • @BipolarPics I once heard it put this way;

"A Bible that is falling apart, belongs to a Christian that isn't!" :)

  • Yes, the Zondervan is incorrect.

By the way, the spelling "inquired" is not counterfeit, and that example should be taken out of the list. There's lots of info on my website about this area.

You can buy good KJBs (which are Pure Cambridge Edition) second hand, like the one you show at 6:45 to 6:55. By the way, that one should have "inquire" at Genesis 24:57.

  • I have a good Pure Cambridge Edition printed by Local Church Bible Publishers. It is really nice.

  • @DefenseAgainstEvils Right around 10 years.

Not a very good life-span for a Bible that cost $110.00!!

  • @husky394xp You may like to get a Bible I have, if you don't have it already, called The Defined King James Bible. It highlights the uncommon words like 'selfsame' in Joshua 5:11 it doesn't remove it from the text, and defines it at the bottom of the page in a modern meaning, 'the very same, identical'. Published by The Bible For Today Press in Collingswood, New Jersey. Check out their website. :)

  • thank you for this video

  • honestly I think everyone should read and study out of a giant print Bible, regardless of age or visibility - it gives you an advantage of being able to read longer as it's softer on your eyes. Also you won't skip over things as much.

For soul-winning, or taking with you on the job etc I would say the Collins UK is top-knotch and considered to be "PCE" in most places without removing superscriptions like I show in my video on that subject. rule of thumb is stick with trusted publishers!

  • I've stuck with the Nelson giant print I got after I got saved. Its hard to let go of something like that. So I corrected the parts that were changed. That took a while considering they changed "inquired" every single time! But when the cover wore down and pages were coming out i had it rebound and good leather put on. Glad I did. Love the giant letters and references. I'm not into commentary either. Red letter is ok. No tabs for me!

  • Another GREAT video as usual.

  • @assilvertried7x Honestly, I haven't studied the whole "PCE issue" enough to really comment much on it. I just included some of the more obvious problems like changing Spirit to spirit, and heaven to heavens.

My main point in the video is to discourage people from buying a Zondervan KJV, because of their connections to Harper Collins and Fox TV.

  • Collins UK is the best one for several reasons, but the most important reason is that it is the PCE. Cambridge would be my second choice. It's not a coincidence that the best KJV publishers are from England, where the KJV was created.

  • Thanks for the fair and balanced review in this informative presentation.

  • Here is a perfect text Bible from Lcbp (far as the words and capitalization) Hand-Size Text Bible | Item # 180E3B

  • So good, Brother! Thank you for taking the time to put this video together. What a help. I'm going to get our daughter Shelby that "note takers Bible". She loves to take notes! Thanks again! Agree w/ you regarding the Ruckman Bible, good reference, but you know how it goes. Hope to get to meet you this summer, we'll keep you posted on our travel schedule.

  • I want a KJV bible without chapter and verse divisions / numbers / splitting of the text. And with the poetry put in different arrangement.

But it looks like I will have to do it myself one day because such a thing simply does not exist. The closest I have found is an NIV without

chapter numbers (but keeping the paragraph divisions of chapters) and with poetry changed in format (and with Luke and Acts joined). But it

will not do because the NIV doctrines are all muddled and contradictory.

  • Good job Bryan. It's hard to find good KJBs. I got a "Local Church" one before but pages were inked too faint. They also inserted those irritating "Vietnamese style" pronunciation marks (Argh!). I also check KJB's for a dedicatory, for psalm titles, & whether they ruined Isaiah 14:12 w/ "Day star" in the margin.

(ps: My Cambridge has "spirit" in Gen. 1:2 but it's also correct as the Spirit's work. I'm wary of the "corrupt KJV" stuff because it sows doubt. Two editions can both be right.)

  • Husky. i have a few questions for you. First, where can I view or read your reasons for abandoning the NIV and accepting the KJV. Second, what is the best defense of the KJV that you have read? Third, what commentaries do you consult or recommend for those who want to learn and study under men whom God has blessed with wisdom to accurately handle the Word of Truth? Thanks.

  • @shamounian Watch my videos. I answer these questions.

  • @husky394xp Can you direct me to the video where you share your reasons for leaving the NIV for the KJV after 15 years of using it?

  • @husky394xp i had no idea there were different "versions" of the KJV. I thought they were all the same. Thanks for posting this video. I knew the KJV was the only good translation but now i will be more careful in my selection of even KJV bibles.

  • Amen. Thank you for uploading this valuable information.

  • Stay away from the rotten ol' scofield bible they offer. JUNK! He cuts down the KJB every other page. LCBP didn't have an answer why they use his stuff.

  • @filoIII I don't have a Scofield Bible, but I do usually try to steer clear of the "study Bibles." Good advice though, thank you for bringing this up!

  • @husky394xp My pastor told me to get an old scoffield. When I showed him where he cuts down the KJB my pastor seemed surprised. I took whiteout and got rid of EVERY bit of his commentary and some of the concordence references, like the one's referring the the Revised Version.

  • @filoIII Scofield says world means age, and he says 1 John 5:7 does not have any authority etc. I say he had delusions of grandeur. However, even with it's problems, I find his Rightly Dividing book to be quite good.

  • Can you elaborate on the meaning of the various colours? Thank you again.

  • @filoIII Various colors of what?

  • @filoIII in your bible. You had highlighted different colours.

  • @filoIII Oh man. That's TOP SECRET information! :)

Light Blue for things pertaining to Israel, Dark Green for Money, Olive Green for talk about war or soldiers, Orange for God's judgment or wrath (or evil), Light Green for comforting verses, Red for important doctrines or key words, Yellow for God, Aqua Blue for the Holy Ghost, Purple for royalty, Pink for women, and sometimes if a verse is really important, I will draw a red border around that verse.

Weird I know, but it works for me! :)

  • @husky394xp wow bryan! thats alot of colors lol

  • thanks so much for this great video, and all the links!

  • Very good video. I have two KJ Bibles, a Thomas Nelson and a Holman. About a year ago I gave my Thomas Nelson the "corruption" test, it passed everything except one thing, Matt. 4:1, Spirit wasn't capitalized. I'm not gonna worry about it though. Anyway, didn't the original text have errors like this too, and they revised it a few years later?

I wanted a Cambridge, but the price was just ridiculous and I don't think their worth it. Covers are too flimsy, I prefer cowhide than exotic leathers.

  • @thebereanchannel I was just about to send this video to you, wow the Lord works quick.

  • Great information. I was just talking about this with another Brother. Thank you for this video.

  • I recommend the LCB Executive Note Takers Bible

  • My Goodness! How Apropos! I just posted something regarding counterfeit King James Bibles on my blog! This makes for a great new post!

Well, those such as I need the study additions! I wish I could afford the Ruckman Bible! I believe it to be the ultimate! I have looked into it.He actually has a 3-piece Bible set!

Well, it would take a lot of ink to cross out and write over the "5,000 Documented word perversions in the NIV/TBIV" according to your book that I have!

    Thank you for posting this!

  • Excellent video. I agree with your recommendations. I have a Thomas Nelson that I bought before I knew better and the notes revise the text constantly to line it up with the NKJV. It also perverts the text. I've been using the first edition RRB for a little over a year and it's coming apart at the seams, but has served me well. I don't like that it lacks a concordance. Most of the other things I don't like about it have been fixed in the 2nd edition. Someday I'll replace it with one from LCBP.

  • Good video Brother. I have the 2nd ed of the RRB: the cover is much better: done by LCBP; stitched edged. I personally have the 3-piece model.
