Well-constructed humor, by far the most unique artstyle I've ever seen in a long time, solid direction, subverting and playing with the usual character types (the archetypal troublemakers, the archetypal genius younger sibling, the archetypal bumbling father and the archetypal responsible and irate mother) and overall proud of what it wants to be.

Gumball is among my top cartoons of 2011 along with MLP, Adventure Time, Regular Show and Phineas and Ferb.

Jesus! I am 17 and I still love all these new Cartoon Network shows!! They could compete with the ones i had as a kid! (they'd lose but hey...its not their faults...) Now if only they brought back cartoon cartoon Fridays, like it USED to be. Epic intro, awesome bands, and kick ass shows, the world would once again be rosy and sweet--and I could die happy knowing this generation could have it almost as good as I did.
