man thats brilliant thanks for sending it to me..how did you learn this..where did you start. ive been playin uke on and off for a year now and i need to start progressing more..gonna commit to it now..any tips? wish you did an instructional on this vid!
Glad you liked it. I played charango for a few years before switching to ukulele. Even though it has more strings, charango is tuned similarly to ukulele so that gave me a big head start.
Cool! Almost has a Middle Eastern oud flavor in sections. The uke group is growing all the time, and great stuff is coming out of these cool instruments.
It's a sunny day here, so I decided to go outside and record. Just as soon as I started, so did somebody's circular saw. So I went inside and tried it, and about that time everybody decided it was a good idea to open and shut doors over and over. So I chased them out, but then couldn't play for two or three takes, and finally, I heard the voice of deach and said "This take is it, regardless". lol
Olé! Some funny technique, some interesting notes :-) I like it anyway.
