OMG, i love this idea and i managed to do 4 shirts with half a packet. I have one question: what do I do after I dyed it and it's hanging? Do i leave it dry hanging outside, or do i put it in the dryer?? Help please(: and AWESOME tutorial it was wonderful<3
I LOVE HOW YOU DO THOSE FASHIONABLE CLOTHES FOR SUCH CHEAP PRICES, YOU MAKE IT LOOK REALLY SIMPLE SO I'M DEFINITELY GONNA TRY TO DO THE SHORTS, THE SHIRTS, EVERYTHING BECAUSE IT'S REALLY COOL AND I LOVED THE MOST THE LAST SHIRT THAT HAD THE CIRCLES I THINK IT'S VERY ORIGINAL AND I'LL DO IT, PLEASE CONTINUE DOING THIS THINGS BECAUSE YOU'RE VERY INSPIRING TO ME
I just did this to three shirts! I would suggest folding the shirt like Stephanie did, but without rubber bands. It'll allow you to cover the entire section of the shirt evenly. Also, I tried Black Rit dye and the color turned out to be a reddish grey. I don't suggest using Rit if you want a dark black tone, but colors such as Demin Blue and Teal created a really nice dark shade.
Did you know my name is stephanie also & were even more alike than just sharing a name because your realllly hands on & crafty! I love that lol xD it's probably why i I want to watch all of your videos right now, but i have to go to school :/ lol
I have seen many videos w/ adults explaining how to tie dye... Yours was BY FAR the most detailed. Kudos to you! I actually subscribed, and am looking forward to doing some of your projects.
i really REALLY love your videos! they are really "tumblr" and help me keep up with some cool trends! i also love that you shop at Goodwill! Keep up the videos, and ideas!
Not a fan of the other shirts but I really liked the polyester ombre shirt before it was fringed. It looked like something I would actually purchase from the store!
I personally think sometimes the little flecks of dye look kind of cool! I died a top purple awhile back and I got really cool blue and red dots on the shirt!
i would never wear an ombre shirt because it's not really my thing but oh my gosh i have such an urge to make one anyway just because this looks so fun!! L O V E!
@Yasb00b444 We bought ours at Walmart because it was cheaper than at the craft store. Any craft store should have it, even the grocery store sells it, but it will probably be more expensive there.
wow, realy cool, i"m definately going to try it!!

Does the dye stain the washing machine?
hyistarz 8 months ago
@hyistarz Not that I know of, most dyes are meant to be used in the washer if you're planning on doing big loads of clothes.
