"im not flipping you off, this is just my makep finger"
lol, thanks for the tip!
this is off subject, but can you make a video on how to find your eyebrow shape?and if you shade it in can you give tips on how to find the right eyebrow shade?
Have you ever used e.l.f? It's really inexpensive and it's quality. I only recommend purchasing their eyeshadows, lipglosses, brushes, and blushes. You should give it a try. Oh, and everything is a $1. I just thought you might want to know that since you're so into makeup like me :)
Sorry but your tip on applying blusher only on the cheekbone area is rather old fashioned and no longer applies to today's make up styles. This is what people did back in the 1980's and most professional make up artist nowadays do not recommend. Best way to apply blusher is by smiling and applying the blusher in your entire cheeks and cheekbone area. It also looks more flattering.
Actually I agree with you. I often apply blush on the apples of my cheeks. I don't think this method is at all outdated, there's just different methods out there. In my videos, I'm not trying to be up-to-date. I use classic makeup principles for begginers. If you're an experienced makeup user, you usually have the confidence to expand your horizons.
During the 1980's, I worked as a make up artist for a little while. Back then, it was the "in" thing to apply blusher only on the cheekbone area. Basically this method never worked for most people as it wasn't very flattering. Yet, make up artists of that time, still continued to use this technique.
Funny, when I worked as a make up artist during the 1980's, I tried many techniques now widely used in the 2000's. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to expand our horizons back then.
Yeah, I'm doing bridal makeup for a wedding next month and we did a practice run just yesterday. The bride was completely clueless when it came to blush, I put it on the apples of her cheeks and she looked amazing! I really like peach blush right now. I just find that the blush on the apples of a girls cheeks looks more natural and has that sweet girl-next-door look.
can you please tell me which one is better, like mousse blush or powder blush, cuz i always wear the powder, but the mousse one looks nicer , maybe because of the way you applied it, i usually do a fish face lol
=) I prefer the mousse blush. I find that it is easier to apply and fix as well as being richer in color. Powder blush does have it's benefits though. For instance, the mousse blush leaves a glittery look that I'm not always going for while powder blush can look more realistic. The mousse blush does tend to be clumpy when it dries out, powder blush lasts longer. Hope that helps!
Could you please explain the difference between blush and bronzer? I usually put on bronzer because it gives you the "I want to the seaside! I am tanned!" but I've see many tutorials where they say that blusher is fundamental while bronzer isn't so. I don't know why actually but I always wondered: why do I have to apply blush and then just a little bronzer? Can't I just apply bronzer? I don't like being loaded with make up.
Most of the "How to apply blush" videos on Youtube are like 10 minutes. Thanks for keepin' it short and simple. (:
