Yes, you are correct Jimbothy, there is a new one, also featuring these 2 guys. But I have trouble understanding what the meaning is. The guy asks the man sitting at the computer "What are more sure of? Buckley's or your identity?" The guy says "Buckley", then all of a sudden he changes into a suave, handsome man wearing a black turtleneck shirt and his hair is slicked back. I know the new commercial is saying that Buckley works, but why the "identity" issue? Any clue Jimbothy?
identity is who you are. its saying hes unsure of who he is and who he's trying to be, but hes sure that buckleys medicine will work. its just a funny comparison much like his own existence, where he isnt truly sure if he actually exists, hense him disappearing.
I still don't know why in the second commercial (I don't know if you've seen it), this guy changes to a man wearing black turtleneck shirt with his hair all slicked back. Why the "slick dark look"? What meaning does that hold? I know it's a change of identity, but why "that" identity?
probably just to show that his identity actually drastically changed, so you would get a clear picture. like they wouldnt just throw a pair of glasses onto him, considering he works in a cubicle. not much of a change, so probably just something to really show it. im sure there wasnt really meaning behing it. just picked it
Lol. I saw that one. I can see the pink and white color scheme as being "gay-ish", and the earring too. But the Apple iMac?? What does the brand of computer have to do with "gayness"? And tight-fitting black clothes---that's masculine and virile, nothing gay about that! :)
Very funny commercial. I saw the new one, where the guy asks his friend, "What are you more sure of, Buckley's or your identity?" and the man at the computer changes into a suave dude with slicked back hair and he's wearing a black turtleneck shirt. I don't get the new one. Can someone explain this new one? :)
WTF?

There's a new one, and I never hear what he offers instead. This was one of the best commercial's I've seen.

Yes, my guess is to show how he changes from this "geeky" guy to a suave, slick, cool one. Lol.

@mrshinyshoes
Essentially they made him look gay.

@DinoMartini
I thought he looked more gay in his geeky role. Lol.

No no. This new one, his cubicle gets transformed:
Pink and white color scheme
Apple iMac (sure sign of a gay)
Dangly earing on the left
tight fitting black clothes
believe it.

@mrshinyshoes personally I think it is a joke about being gay and is borderline offensive.
