  • Hi I am fairly new to youtube, and tonight came across your video post.. I must say that as a fellow Trinidadian I agree 100% ... I myself have been through a similar situation where police were called to my grandmother's home for a roberry in progress and to my surprise they told us that they had no gas in the truck and it would take them a while before someone come to pay for gas to fill it.... I was so shocked... I live abroad now but when I do come home I feel so unsafe..

  • 500 people a year dying, a large part of those are gangsters. yet more criminals are being bred under the same system , to take the place of the dead criminals. when the cepep easy money done, the people (now accustomed to easy money) turn to crime.

  • Where do you live? to have that much security, but 1 person was able to bypass all that security?

  • @trishalishification ...u seem to be missing the point.....whether i got my stuff back is irrelevant, the crime situation an living in fear IS the point...i said no one does anything about our poor governance, just sit an accept.....what the guards do is irrelevant...they are doing their jobs...the PM shud do his, which includes providing a secure crime free environment for its citizens....he will never be able to, no one can, but he must try...at the moment, he does nothing.

  • @trishalishification The reason wages are so low are from several factors, too much to get into here, but 1 key factor is the CPEP program which gives away millions for a 10 days wuk, and they dont even have to show up...it undermines the ethic of the workforce and forces biz to be short becuz they cant compete with CPEP wages

  • I support you 100% I thought I was the only one who felt/thought these things! OMG.....something must be done..at the moment I think something much worse than the 1990 coup will occur.

  • no way man sorry to hear about that happening to you at least everybody is ok and that he didnt hurt any of your family! stay safe mate.

  • Anyways, you missed one word to describe the police--compromised.

Even the Prime Minister has private security.

  • Looks like someone/s are not feeling some of your Youtube posts -

  • lol....yeah....hopefully patrick is at the top of that list

  • if im a jamaican an can realise seh manning is shit and a masup beautiful trinidad why cah trini's stop vote fi di idiot

    luv from jamaica

  • Because the opposition is in a mess. They worship their current leader who needs to retire (since he is no better than the current Prime Minister).

  • Dont cop out and blame the government, they only represent us and if we dont hold them accountable then what should we expect ?

  • you obviously not living in trinidad...there is no accountability here!

  • 30 years ago Trinis started building higher walls and putting bars on their doors and windows instead of addressing the issues in our society. We now live in our own prisons ... you're right to complain but the next stage is to do something, let you're MP know you're not satisfied enmasse, only then will they feel they have the backing to take the harsh actions that are needed to fix the problems ...

  • You are exactly right!

We retreated into our fortresses and refused to demand law and order.

Not even a gated community can protect you it seems.

  • Kick Manning ass out !!! He don't care about anyone but himself...

  • My dad was murdered 18 years ago. Since that morning when my dad, my mum & my brother were shot , Trinidad is worse.

Every time a body is found, families who have loved ones missing have to go to identify the body. They LIVE in dread. Is this ma? pa? son? The horror & the hurt & the pain only grows until death do they part.

Yet we do nothing but accept this inept failed government & the alternative whom are criminals themselves.

I feel your pain & I am sorry for the sleepless nights to come.

  • Oh lorse, I've never seen or heard you this upset. My condolences - you have a right to be bothered. You have a right to be angry....

God bless and protect you and take care of you and yours...

  • That is messed up I had the same thing happen to me when I was in trinidad 2 or three years ago the people robbed my house held me and my cousins at gun and left with the car and all of my jewelry not to mention the tv and other little things. I did not want to leave trinidad but I was ssent away. people r jus running away from the problems when we need to face them striaight forward. the government needs to stop sratchin and do something patrol, raid , something.

  • I feel your pain... i can see its not jus about the break in.. but the fact that "we" trinidadians are letting this happen to us over and over...
