@sparkermachy So true! I watched this video in hope of solving the problem but when I make a macro, the keys stay themselves forever, no matter what I do! AND I can't switch profile with the Razer-logo! same problem as you? :(

@lodbergg2 Actually I solved it by going to where I installed it and letting it have full control in the properties (as well as disabling visual themes and start as administrator) Therefore I can press f1 in css and have my mp5 with all my other goodies now :D (If I get 10 thumbs up I'll know to make a tutorial about this)

this is so stupid i made r a maco and then it stoped to work and it does not work to remove... so i had to go and press record and r and all that all the time so now i removed the progam and now r does not work at all -.- it sucks...

i figured out how to do those macros where you run wow and the one where you open multiple tabs, but can you have them both active at once? can i press F8 for WoW and F9 for the web browser thing? because since they both use the run command they will both activate the same thing.

@chanaman12345 why do my macros not work, are you not showing something that is a necessity to use the macros?

e.g. selecting your profile with the ".exe" file you wont the macro to work on?

Everyone having problems with the macro being set and not working, I figured it out . When you use the disc it downloads the normal setup and we need to have the Windows 7 setup for it to work. Just go to the website razersupport . com and get the Win7 install

Hey guys I need help, I just bought this keyboard and I love it but for some reason the macros do not work on it. Whenever I try to record a macro, it shows weird symbols and it wont show what key im binding it to. so far none of my macros work!!!

i have this mx518 , i use 1020 dpi and 0.8 sensitivity, it works like a charm, i kept on pawning people with that setting. I think my accuracy has increased like 20% or something. I used to get score like 120/98 on CSS deathmatch, but after the setup i get like 150/90. i really like to have razer as my gaming mouse but mx518 works like a charm now and im afraid im gonna mess up my gaming if change my mouse.

You have only 10 macros on the tarantula. but you can change the profile to have more macros if you wanted. Profile 1 would be for your desktop stuff, profile 2 would be for CSS, so on and so forth. you can however change the settings of any key.

been trying to fiddle about with macros on my lycosa. I wanted f1 to open up CS:S so i chose hl2.exe in my steam folder applied it, pressed f1 an egg timer comes up for a second but css doesn't load :/ Do you know how to do this ? :/

no, but i can recommend learning it the old fashion way. Once you learn, you'll get the hang of it. just search on youtube how to bhop properly

give enough time for the menu to pop up and/or for w/e your delaying. Just like when you go to pick up a hot cup your not going to grab it right away, your going to sit there for a millisecond or so debating on whether or not to pick it up

So why show an inferior method? You need to insert delays or it wont function properly. With binds it will be much faster, and always work.

This would only be useful if this keyboard had extra keys like the G15 or the other Razer one. Since you can't bind directly to those keys.

Like i said, there is more than one way of doing things, i can say binding is inferior and why not just hit b,1,4 manual for a deagle or even b,4,3 for an m4? i just put this video out there to give people ideas, not just for css, but other things as well.

You don't need to make stupid macros to buy shit in CS. Both 1.6 and Source have GUIs, like the CEVO GUI that lets you simply bind keys to weapons in your options menu.

Theres always more than one way of doing things, and some people don't even know what cevo, cal, or guis even are. I use binds now. I actually do it the old fashion way, not through the gui setup, even though thats easier to do it
