  • Nice what camera did you film this with?

  • @LightningPr0ducti0ns This was recorded with a Canon XH A1 (Sony VX2000 mounted on the Jib).

  • @topbunkvideo Thanks

  • How is the tilt mechanism for smoothness? I built a jib but it's not adjustable.

  • @RelyOnYourselfTV Not good at all. This was my first attempt though.

  • i see you got your little tv hooked up thats whats up man havent seen that in any of the videos so far. Nice job with the jib tho

  • how much did this cost to make?

  • Somewhere around $40.00.

  • I have managed to make the other jib (Homemade jib HD) ajustable: The original ten-foot version, and a six-foot version. It breaks down to four feet. Will try to post footage by weekend.

  • sounds good, yeah that's the main thing keeping me back. If I build one it has to be able to fit in the trunk of my car.

  • Not really; this was my first attempt at making a jib. After making this one, I dismantled it and made the one with the pan and tilt head. Now all I need to do is get the movements smoother and make the arm 12' collapsible to 4'.

  • Nice! So I guess you got all the bugs worked out then?
