  • What aperture did you use for the main ceremony?

  • very nice. i would like to know how you shot the picture at 2:27 . i know most of the light is on the other side but how did you manage to keep the side closer to you completely dark? could anyone help? thanks.

  • @lllestico

    Post processing.

  • @lllestico Hi. By exposing for the highlights (the large window) in this case, the darkest shadow areas will fall into a natural silhouette. If the photographer used an even faster shutter speed or a smaller aperture then the shadows would become darker and the net curtains would become less bleached showing more detail. A slower shutter or wider aperture would give the opposite effect.

Possibly some burning in post but it can all be achieved in camera. Hope that makes sense and helps :-)

  • @4Alpha7Kilo hi! I actually used my old D60 as a second body, but 90% of the pictures where taken using the D300s. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @im4mur4 Ah alright. Definitely! Where at in the US do you shoot?

  • @4Alpha7Kilo haha, what makes you think I shoot in the US? I'm Spanish and almost all my pictures were taken in Spain (and Indonesia). I'm currently living in Beijing, where I'm shooting non-stop ;) you can see pictures of China on my website k9studios.es.

  • @crackonGarry Thanks Garry!

  • i sertenly think ur one of the better wedding photographers on youtube. Your lenses are very fast lovely tack sharp photos, im glad to see you have selected the good one and not just stuck them all in, at least i hope or u just nail it every time witch i think is doubtful

  • nice work

  • Very nice pictures! Congrats!

  • @CostinPleashaForever Appreciate it! In two weeks I'm leaving to China and my slideshows will be quite different from this ;)

  • other than that, this is AMAZING!!

  • If I were you, I'd fill the whole 16:9 frame with the image. As photographers, we all know it sucks but it's more pleasing to the eye. either that or make a black "border' around them.

  • @RoundTheBendFilms Thanks for the tip! I had never thought of that... cropping all the images would be a hassle but it's probably worth it. Gotta try it next time.

  • @im4mur4 check out my "commercial" videos. Those are examples. not my best, but good. Shot on D300 and some crappy Nikon lenses. haha

  • @im4mur4 im sure u can convert them in photoshop or video editing im sure i saw it yesterday
