i like the girl in 5:06, i like the setting and the story, very original, this 6 minutes could have easily been 4 minutes, a constructive critic, the intro of the tittle takes too much unded space, meaning it takes too long. the intro scenary takes too long as well. the story is great, effect go nice with it, just theres a lot of things that can be cut out to make it flow easier and nicer.
not entirely correct, if the choice is made to use no artificial lighting like in base-moi and the dop's job should be as much about the framing of the shot and other camera jazz as much, if not more than lighting. well according to the whole world, except england. is true english dop's tend to concentrate on light but it depends on crew size. film i worked on the dop did all the camera work and very little lighting. he just made sure the sunlight was consisant and that was about it esentially
and you need the intro to explain the whole plot. if i showed it in normal film it would defeat the purpose i cut characters like fire and air in the first place. and it was either this or text, which would get boring. and gave robyn more to do. the fairy doesnt do much else

lol cool to see it on here finally, the bit at the beggining is annoying though xD
also, my tutors would kill me if i didn't point out; you cant be DoP without manipulating light within a shot... or using the camera in manual xD
