  • Please do your geek tool tutorial! What you have is perfect, but i'd love to know how to make it.

  • what do you use to screenrecord? how did you get the awesome 720-1080p quality? If you look at my videos, the HD 720p still doesn't look HD. help.

  • @MusicSwipe72 he uses ScreenFlow

  • what do you use to screenrecord? how did you get the awesome 720-1080p quality?

  • What code do you have exactly for your Geektool script because I was only able to get the current conditions and temperature.

  • <3 perfect wallpaper:)))

  • Very nice apps, especially MacTracker. I personally love Pixelmator (very advanced and easy to use image editor) and Trine (a gorgeous physics based adventure game).

  • you sound like owen wilson

  • I know you mentioned it would have to wait for a different time, but can you please make a video showing not only the weather but other GeekTool scripts?

  • @baseballphenom512 I will. I've been getting a lot of questions about it lately.

  • @techchris100 make it in photoshop

  • which one was free

  • @SOLE1PRODUCTIONS Mactracker.

  • dateline. fridays at 9. only on nbc.

  • Are you using OSX Lion?

  • @pat20105 It's Snow Leopard. Lion's "traffic lights" are smaller.

  • dateline is cool

  • Great video but I'm just so tired of apple I have to unsubscribe

  • Sweet videos! Check out some of my content! I just bought the Samsung Infuse 4G!

  • What Chrome theme is that?

  • whoa! did you do that effect on iMovie 11? 0:19

  • i'm just waiting for u to review that Final Cut X when it's released. Would love to see your quick tips on that. Us iMovie buff are still in the dark ages.

  • How do you get that thing is the left corner of your desktop?

  • WORDWRANGLER

  • :( DaisyDisk Looks Awesome but its a bit steep for me.

  • thanks so much.

  • Facebox Pro for Facebook. Great way to keep up on Facebook.

  • @kbhasikevin how is it called?

  • @techchris100 There is a link in the video description.

  • I love Mactracker! Been using it for years! It's great when you're trying to reference an old machine and want to double check the specs. It's also great if you want to see how Apple's products progress over time. The graphical renderings of the products are so pretty and slick looking too :) I love the idea of Dateline though... never heard of it! Definitely going to have to check that out!

  • the virtual dj app is cool. and mat i agree the mactracker is cool i got it b4 the app store came out.

  • The site which provides you wallpaper is down. Could you upload it somewhere and post that link? Thanks.

  • What app is the weather in the top left corner?

  • @kbhasikevin Yep. Ubuntu comes with some really great apps. I really like their version of the App Store as well.

  • hey i have mactracker and was about to say the exact same thing

  • Good vid man! That background is awesome btw!

  • @techchris100 listen to what he says in the fucking video, its in the description

  • I hate the mac app store, it wont work! It just says something about incomatability..

  • What google chrome theme do you use?

  • I just came for the weather icon on your desktop....

  • Clean My Mac is a cool app. It scans your hard drive for any files that you dont really need.

  • justnotes is awesome! its free and its accessible from the topbar, and if you press on it, then a window shows up where u can write notes in. You could also organize your notes into different topics and long story short, its free, easy, and much much better than stickies!

  • Xcode 4, Codebox, and Things

  • I love daisydisk! I have worked with the devs and they are awesome people!

  • Mixxxer is pretty cool. I mostly use it for messing around with tracks in my library, as you can change the pitch and speed of different songs. I mostly do it for comedic effect, but hey, it's still free.

  • let us know the prices! I know I can look them up but it is easier if you tell me :p haha Great video.

  • This is exactly what i've been waiting for! The only ones I had seen prior to this involved only free apps that everyone has already known of for years. I knew about MacTracker and DaisyDisk but not Dateline.

  • matt are you still with technobuffalo?

  • I use Ringer to make my iPhone ringtones, it's a much easier and quicker way than using Garage Band.

  • @techchris100 Just how retarded are you? Did you not watch the video? Go back to 1:53 if you can manage.

  • MacTracker is great! I've been using it for years. Daisy Disk looks cool too!

  • @techchris100 I'd also like to know. The link provided in the description didn't work.

  • @TechnoRocketTV It worked for me.

  • @techchris100 he just said it in the video...

  • Cool

  • let me guess Mactraker is MAC only

  • Great! Fits my budget ;)

  • Anyone else notice that the song at the end was in an episode of spongebob? Anybody know the name?

  • what other videos you have in there Matt? xD

  • Hey matt, could you please do a video on comparisons/contrasts of the Powerpc and Intel macs? Nice video too.

  • @techchris100 elsewhere

  • nice

  • Clinch. It's like the windows feature where you drag the window to the side and it fills half the screen. I have a video on it.

  • @AppleTechHelper Cool. You can post it as a video response if you want.

  • @MattsMacintosh Try BetterTouchTool, it's actually a better app that not only allows you functionality akin to the Windows 7 resizing of windows, but also allows customization of trackpad & magic mouse commands (example: three finger tap enables opening items in new windows). Best app I ever downloaded and it's free :-) Not on the Mac App store though so ya gotta Google the name to download.

  • @MattsMacintosh Cinch is okay, but it's a pay-for app. BetterTouchTool has a window snapping feature for free.

  • @MattsMacintosh how did you get the weather icon on the side. and great video!

  • @MattsMacintosh What is the app on the top left hand corner that shows the weather

  • @AppleTechHelper Cinch! It's really handy when moving between my MBP display and when I plug it into my 24" desktop monitor when I get home.

  • @AppleTechHelper Cinch actually, not Clinch

  • @AppleTechHelper I love cinch, it makes multitasking so much easier

  • @macbookpro57 BetterSnapTool is better, more customizable, and cheaper. I used to use the free cinch but it sucks now.

  • @macbookpro57

i prefer hyperdock its much more powerful then cinch and it puts thumbnails to your dock apps

  • @AppleTechHelper It's actually called "Cinch"

  • nvm........ i watched the rest of the vid:(

  • How did you get that Weather widget? i WANT

  • @XmacXmanX Well im interested........

  • i dare you to do a video on a PC or something :P

  • @m75videos He uses a PC for work and likes it, he just prefers a Mac.

  • @m75videos I have a video planned using only Windows Movie Maker

  • @MattsMacintosh ...on how much it sucks? lol

  • geeekk toooll pleaseee

  • A great app is "Cinch", it is that snap tool on windows 7, but for Mac.

Also Jitouch which are basically added gestures for the multitouch pad

  • Best better google chrome or safari?

  • you're such an nspiration

  • love your vids

  • YOUR AWESOME:)

  • I got mactracker a few months ago and i searched the quicktake because i had no idea what it was. I stumbled upon your video and spent the rest of of the day watching all of your videos! Easiest subscription I ever made!

  • @doyoulikepancakes54 Thanks, I really appreciate it!

  • I'm on a PC and I'm watching this ... I so want a Mac !

  • @iFranKim lol

  • Here's an interesting question for you Matt: Do you think in Windows 8 there will be a universal software marketplace/ app store integrated?

  • @0ChrisJones0 Maybe. I don't think it would be a bad idea since OS X and Linux already have one.

  • @MattsMacintosh Linux has many, but most of the software is free, and a lot of the software-getting programs are quite limited.

  • Matt for President.

  • I wish I could make videos like you do!

  • Great picks Matt, I really like flare

  • love your videos!

  • Epic

  • lookin to see more of theese vids in the future

  • Love em'

  • Awesome.
