I love Mactracker! Been using it for years! It's great when you're trying to reference an old machine and want to double check the specs. It's also great if you want to see how Apple's products progress over time. The graphical renderings of the products are so pretty and slick looking too :) I love the idea of Dateline though... never heard of it! Definitely going to have to check that out!

Clean My Mac is a cool app. It scans your hard drive for any files that you dont really need.

justnotes is awesome! its free and its accessible from the topbar, and if you press on it, then a window shows up where u can write notes in. You could also organize your notes into different topics and long story short, its free, easy, and much much better than stickies!

Mixxxer is pretty cool. I mostly use it for messing around with tracks in my library, as you can change the pitch and speed of different songs. I mostly do it for comedic effect, but hey, it's still free.

@MattsMacintosh Try BetterTouchTool, it's actually a better app that not only allows you functionality akin to the Windows 7 resizing of windows, but also allows customization of trackpad & magic mouse commands (example: three finger tap enables opening items in new windows). Best app I ever downloaded and it's free :-) Not on the Mac App store though so ya gotta Google the name to download.
