What the hell happened to The Need for Speed? It was all about COOL at first: racing sports cars on beautiful beach and mountain roads to a rock n roll soundtrack. But then it turned into this UNCOOL piece of crap, all gritty and sad and gangsta.

@nightsdreamparadox Yea, Exact same reason why I loved the old need for speed series. I remembered playing highstakes on my PS1. Enjoyed the scenery throughout the game, if it was remade in today's graphics it would be very nice.

I must admit I liked the latest "Hot pursuit" for a while, it put some of the "insane" and "crazy" back in the series after a shitload of crappy, almost unplayable games. With my G27 steering wheel it still feels...wrong.. though.

I'd still rather play old midtown madness(the original, multiplayer, God that was fun), burnout paradise, old Sega rally, even the outrun PS3 remake or, of course GT5.

Oh, just realized I haven't played burnout since I got the steering wheel. Awesome!
