@MegaYahoo1987 I know you were looking for an answer by sirgerry , but to me it looks like a stratocastor. The sound certainly matches it as I bought one the other day. I definately agree that it is more of a blues than a rock guitar. They certainly are great guitars for money in my opinion :D Hope this helps.
@MegaYahoo1987 Hey, It's a Squier Stratocaster, same shape as Fender, cheaper guitar. As mentioned by Megayahoo, more suited for blues and classic rock, maybe even Iron Maiden kind of heavy metal, but not much heavier. Great for the price. peace
@XAPPLEgatorX41 Sure, as long as there is space in the body of the guitar, since single coils are half the widht of humbuckers, you'd also need a bigger hole in the pickguard.
@foulis It was nice guitar, solid, good wood, nice pickups, great for the price, the frets weren't perfect, and too thin for me, but nothing that gets in the way.
I have one! but when it's on sounds a little beep, actually is a strange noise haha, sounds when I'm not touching the strings and sounds even more when the volume control is at five or something or if the bridge pickup is active...

I wouldn't be too sure, I guess with a right amp and pedal you can overdrive anything, maybe even a violin :)

Hey, I got a Fender Strat Squire this morning for my birthday, and looking forward to my 1st lesson tuesday. its the start of the Rockin' Road for this guy.
Very cool! Love the sound of it. I myself have also got a squier, and i must saythe sound of it is VERY good, when you think about the price of 'em! Mine is a Fender squier Affinity series

he says he got it for free for a gig payment in the description, but over in britain you're looking at around £100-150 or I guess around $150-300 although you guys have it cheaper over there.

what amp are u using ?
Jankovek 3 years ago
Hi
No amp, just a GT6 pedalboard, from the output to the camera, that's why the sound is a little saturated.

it´s good for play rock n roll?
rodoalo 3 years ago
Very good for rock, blues, if you're going for metal or jazz, it wont sound as good, but can still make it though

Very cool! Love the sound of it. I myself have also got a squier, and i must saythe sound of it is VERY good, when you think about the price of 'em! Mine is a Fender squier Affinity series

yeh mine too, £70 from a second hand shop, same colour as this too. Compared to a £500 Strat it compares rather favourably.
