this might be a silly question, but do the strings have to have a specific tuning, or can it just be the regular tuning ?

@xXDappYx12 No problem. It's just regular tuning on this one (EADGBE). Some of his other songs do have altered tunings though.

@Captainwayner have you seen Ed Sheeran's acoustic version on You Tube (where he's playing on a barge)? you can get a good feel for the words and acoustic guitar together from that one
