Looks good! Folks keep in mind that this sandwich, which he said was served at a resort, probably cost per serving what we make in a week. So, fresh pineapple would be much cheaper in a homemade serving than to buy this sandwich pre-made. Some folks will enjoy, it some will not. But there is no need to be discourteous, like you're all that and a bag of chips.
He was kidding, right, Tita? Have you EVER had pineapple in any of your damned "Hawaiian" meals? I haven't. Ever. And I was born and raised here lol lol lol
Sistah, I got 3 thumbs down for my comment. I thought it was a reasonable question, oh well, personally, I've seen better leftovers in the bottom of a caserole dish at a Poipu pot luck, after it has set out all day!
p.s. NO, pinnapple cost to much in Hawaii. Dole is not Hawiian.
Amen! I did a dish (and told someone about it) with pineapple in it and I was asked why I didn't just buy a fresh one. WHY? Cheaper in a can and less work. Plus, they're too damned expensive! And they aren't "all over Hawaii". If they were, I wouldn't have to go to Costco to buy a container of it for $8. hahaha You had 4 thumbs down, I gave you one back up when I saw that ;)
Its a great receipe...but, Vahchef I was wondering if we are done with Indo-Chinese session? What happened to Manchurians, Veg Hong Kong, Manchow, Schezwan, Veg 65 and numerous soup receipes I was expecting? I am sure we all wanna more of it...Indo-chinese is a great hit here in India...well, for da sandwich thank you once again Chef!!
spring onion's better than celery/onion. chef you forgot the lime/lemon juice, black pepper, tomato & non-sugared pickled gherkin. can we have some more dessert dishes?

A simple roastbeef sandwich costs 12 bucks in Disney, just roastbeef and a slice of cheese.
