  • Google has released a "how search works" video (but I can't put a link to it)

Is Google's so much better than mine that I should take this one down?

  • nicely explained, plain and simple

  • epic

  • Nicley done :)

  • Wired has an article on how Google works, and how it is getting better. You Tube is not letting me post a link - go to wired and look for Magazine, issue 18.03 and look for the article Exclusive: How Googles Algorithm Rules the Web

  • nice one, but the question is how do they index the internet? or how do they scan the internet?

a spider can scan all the internet ?

  • @themhz they do it using hyperlinks or references. When you load a page, there are links on that page that you can click on. Google indexes each page found on each page. For for each new page, every hyperlink page is indexed and it goes on and it. Pages already indexed are discarded or I guess re-indexed if they change often
