a similar way to Str0ngSide's method is to keep encountering chansey and if none of ur pokemon know thief just keep catching her, i did this method and got the egg on the 6th catch.

ive got a way easier way. Go to Soleceon town and go south. Keep on getting into battles in the grass. Have a pokemon that knows the move Thief. Keep encountering pokes untill a chansey comes along. When you find a chansey, use thief on her and if it says that you stole a lucky egg, run and keep repeating this method.
