Only thing I don't love about Tombraider Anniversary (as far as conversation goes) is: 1) They combined "The Cistern" + "The Tomb of Tihocan" into one level. Should be two for continuity. 2) I like the way they played on the sneaky Pierre, but they should of left more of him popping out and gunning you down I mean that was awesome. They could of made it an interactive cinematic, you know. Not a real boss but yeah. 3)I don't like the level ending process - not like they were in classic TR 1-6.

I don't get Tomb of Tihocan thing... sorry, that level is so minimal it even gets annoying. It pretty much follows most of cistern atmosphere, so I quite understand why CD combined both levels.

haha thats what i always thought when i played these games! either that or the animals are the welcoming commitee, like you know all those bullets and medipacks that mysteriously appear in this lost for decades tombs? well someone had to put them there! and so all the "baddies" when she arrives are like "yaaay she's here!" and she's like "AHHHH!!" whatever Midas touched, it turned into the gold. so, when lara places the bar in his hand, it turns to gold. Got it? Once it's gold, it can be placed into those spaces. And when you stand lara on that hand, she would turn into gold as well.

I did this level once w/o killing the animals on the main floor and I can guarantee you its a blast!There were moments when the camera angle showed the big zoo coming after you. When you get to the top with the levers, you can look down and see its a jungle down there! Being followed by more than 9 monkeys, 4 lions and a crocodile= incredible adrenaline rush! The real trouble spot is when you come down from where that last brick is. Lions can corner you easily there.

It always felt like there were way more than 4 Lions at the end, then again, the Gorillas are the main threat as they can climb and get you as you put in the gold bars.

That is why I had to deal with them before entering the exit room. After hauling ass from the garden section, all the way to the levers, I took a sight, a deep breath, and it was their time to run afterwards.

even though i liked obelisk and sanctuary this is best TR1 level. good run but i reckon i could best this 1 and i know you certainly could, mabee by a min or so. exellent nonetherless. The real test though is TR3 levels like Area 51, Madubu Gorge, the huge level 2 and the crazy Lost City Of Tinnos. I would try a speedrun on it myself but i work full time so would do a spinning bird kick out of my window in exitement if u did a speedrun through it. SPEEDRUN ON TR3 PLEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!

This could theorectically be improved by a minute or so, but the only big improvement I can think of is killing the creatures quicker (avoiding them seems pretty much impossible), the only other improvements I know of other than removing mistakes are a couple of tiny movement tweaks (which are around 5 seconds at most).

wow...very pro like. What scares me about Tomb Raider is that putting her in dark isolated tombs, caverns, etc. makes you jump evertime you see something other than Lara move. whenever she is in small cramped places, my heart starts beating faster... Good job though! XD

Gosh, when you dropped off the roof of the temple, it was like a zoo! Good tactical jumping there as well. And straight to the right levers again :D Just ignore the lion in the last door, la la, lol. Great work, you're a true professional. And also very nice to the endangered animals by sparing most of their lives :p
