Visualize the ribs as wings, getting expansion and space to breath by getting the intercostal muscles of the ribs to move and give you more space to breath when the lower abdominals are working, when mul bandh is engaged.
Divine Alignment describes breathing w/ Mula Bandh, it's a Yogic Bandhed Breath, it will expand the ribs cage & lung capacity. Locate your navel/ lower belly/ core draw it towards the spine, lift the pelvic floor(draw your sitzbones together) apply only a light Mula Bandh, fingers at the navel, keep this point still. Thumbs on the bottom ribs, as you inhale feel expansion widening the lower ribs, the breath will push the ribs from the inside, exhale the lower ribs narrow.

Try watching the other videos, spinal flex, this will probably answer your question.

Sat Nam Guruprem,
Thank you for these very helpful videos.
One question, when in camel pose, or any posture using Muhl Bandh, how do you breathe properly with the navel point pulled in?
