  • Thanks Man! Now I'll never get my gf to ride this trail with me! haha

  • Did your friend see you??? :-\ 'Cause it looks like he left you there.

  • U'r lucky that u didn't fall down with your bike:D

  • hey, 12.03. it`s my birthday and i think it´s your`s too now !!! ;-)

  • Fuck

  • Awesome that the bike wasn't really even damaged after that.

  • holy crap!!!!!!!!

  • More gas...duhh

Jk damn dude thats crazyness, but why you stop play video recorder :D? It would have been a cool like video story for the kids. Any who glade you were still alive to turn the cam off, happy trails ;]

  • Holy crap!!!! That is my worst nightmare come true. Dude you are very lucky that you didn't go over with the bike. Ive ridden some crazy trails with very little room for error and I've come very close to the edge, but that is some scary stuff

  • husqvarnas are built to last!

  • Lol

  • Keep making your donations on Sunday! It's working! Great vid.

  • Glad you were ok !!

    Cool trail!'

  • YOUR POOR HUSQVARNA!!!!

  • If that was me I wouldve gotten my but back off that cliff edge before I started waving!... Nice vid I don't think that was ten feet more like 3 to 5

  • @C4KrazE I was thinking the exact same thing... Pretty narrow!

Great video, I'm glad everything (and much more importantly everyone) was OK.

  • @USMCin2years, yes I got it running the night I got it home after dragging it out of that canyon. It just needed a quick recharge on the battery since it was a e-start and efi, other than the recharge it just needed a new clutch lever, left side foot peg and a good cleaning and it was ready to go for under $80! Not bad for getting tossed off a 50ft cliff, IMO husqvarna's are pretty tough, they are designed for some hard lives!

  • did you get it runnin afterwards?

  • Now you have a brand new story to tell around the fire.

  • watch out for that! =)

  • i hope the bikes ok :)

  • BALLS IN THE THROAT!!!!

  • HAHAHA#@$@# shieeeet that was awesome. good on ya mate

  • Danny Danny

  • Went to pick up the husky?

  • Im glad u got off the bike and u didnt fall down the canyon!!!

  • like if you looked this up on youtube cause of aots! :)

  • easily the most goontastic bike-off-a-cliff video i have ever seen!!!!

  • This deserves to be on attack of the show

  • @crunchyeater It was on "Around The Net".I think was #3.

  • I saw this on Attack of the Show.

  • AOTS ! MAD LUCKY !

  • Good to now your bike is still intact! You were lucky there! :)

  • wut happened to the bike man?

  • Ohmygod. So glad you didn't fall down there as well!!

Sorry about your bike too ,

  • if that was my bike id be diving down for it

  • What bike are you riding.

  • WOW!!! YOU GOT LUCKY. DAMN!

  • fuck that man i would of dove for my bike! haha my life isnt worth more than my bikes man ahah YZ250 2011 fuck than man that woulda been me goin over

  • HOLY SHIT ahah

  • Amaziing footage, I point other youtubers to this one.

  • that's what you get for going backwards!Pussy!

  • You would think the bike would be smashed to bits. Some one was looking down on you that day

  • Holy fuckstick are you lucky to be alive! This is why I don't ride trails

  • Thank God you are alive and didn't go over with the bike.

  • it looked bad just lookin at it

  • In the shadow on the left side of the trail in the small bush there was a rock that my skid guard and left foot peg hit that sent me off the trail

  • what did you hit? i cant see a rock or anything on the trail that would make you fall like that

  • In the details under the video it says Rim Trail, we linked a few other trails to get there but it happened on the rim trail about 6 miles from the parking lot near I-70

  • What Trail was this in rabbit valley did u happen to look it's going down the big rocky hill threw the sand right?

  • dude, that is f'in classic! You calling your buddy after the cliff-over couldn't have been reproduced in a Hollywood movie....

  • maybe you should learn how to ride B)

  • great footy, sell it to Max-X and buy some levers and pegs!

  • Glad he got off in time...!

  • Man, good thing that you landed on the right side of that fall. We did RV about four weeks ago, and that exact accident was in the back of my mind.

  • That's the craziest thing I've seen. Glad you and the bike are alright.

  • Cool Vid

  • That was a near miss. Gald you didn't follow the bike.

  • Close one!

  • Glad you are alright. Close one.

  • Cool :-)

  • Dude, you´re lucky it was the bike, not you!

  • The Aspen Greg is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • "skrotm" honda...are you sure, maybe you should read the desc a second time and see what I was riding :)

  • "The bike amazingly had only a broken clutch lever and a smashed left foot peg! The front forks were perfect, the plastics were perfect, the frame, exhaust, handlebars, seat everything was in great shape!!!"

    That's because its a HONDA!!!!

  • dam shitty luck but at the same time hella good luck that your bike is the only thing that went over that drop

  • glad you're okay and bailed at the right time.

another example as to why you shouldn't ride alone.

I too attach my camera on the side of the helmet to get a better perspective for the viewer.

    check out my vids.

    now get out and RIDE!

  • intense moment, great point-of-view,

  • If I was alone I would have had to walk about 6 miles in full moto gear, not impossible but certainly a pain and would have had big blisters by the time I got back to the car. I never ride alone...ever! Two rides ago I tipped over low speed and the swing arm pinned me down to a rock, if I was alone I'm not sure I would have gotten out from under the bike. So yes I would say that if you're smart then you never ride alone, desert, mountains or anywhere for that matter!

  • @TheAspenGreg I trail ride all the time and this is my worst fear other than bodily injury. I'm glad you didn't get hurt and your bike came out with so little damage. I always buddy ride and his average time to come back to look for me is about 5 minutes also. Although that seems like an hour when I'm on my back in 90 degree heat with the bike wedged into the rocks. Keep on riding, join the AMA and keep the trails open!

  • Is there an unwritten rule somewhere among desert riders that you never, go riding alone? I wonder how you might have gotten out of there if you didn't have a buddy to help.

  • "luvmy08husky", I already thought about getting in contact with husky usa/worldwide but had little luck finding usable info. Anyone with help to get in contact with husky usa marketing or advertising would be great. It's just what I thought too, super tough machines to go off a cliff and more than survive has to be good for business! Glad you enjoyed the video, tell all you moto buddies to go watch it so we can all remember to go easy and to live to ride another day!

  • AWESOME FOOTAGE! that's a crazy rad place to ride but damn! has husqvarna seen this video? I've got an '08 510smr that I highsided on the street at about 30+mph and only had to put new grips on it, they're so solid! and people who don't understand how riding works and that if you spent your whole day watching the guy behind you you'd be in the canyon instead should consider not commenting. if he was there whithin 20 min. that's about how it works..

  • that looked alot less then 10 feet away, that was a sheer drop dude you would have been screwed!

  • I look at the vid and cant see what you hit to make the bike go off the side

  • @NANKEL1 he ran into the side of the little mound with the grass

  • Bet your heart was racin

  • Wow was not expecting that.

  • glad your alive to live to ride another day. Bikes can always be replaced.

  • Oh shit! Thats crazy

  • What a shitty friend, he was not paying attention, you could of been bleeding out at the bottom of the canyon and he would just kept pottering round LOL. Great video though!

  • @jackobcooper

That's the way it works. People ride at different paces and if you are always stopping and waiting, other riders tend to get pissed. If he hadn't have come back then you'd be right on.

  • @ktmeric66 Yea, In essence I was saying it's a good thing that his buddy came back, otherwise in a different situation it could of ben alot worse.

  • you got lucky then man

  • BROOOOOOOOOOOOOO That shit is intense knowing me i would have went down with my bike (cuz i'd be like fuck u canyon) or not think about it great reflex to let go though

  • EEEEEEKkkkk!!!!

  • Travis Pastrana wannabe

  • @bostonhooligan jealousy is a sin

  • that was close :O

  • FUCK!

  • jesus fucking christ :O wow that was sooo close !

  • That's one of those things about the desert, an embedded rock can whack you off your bike at any time if you have weight on the front wheel.

  • I've tried the camera on the bike, way too bumpy and everyone who would watch that video would get sea sick from it, glad you enjoyed it and hope you did indeed learn from it, I know I did!

  • that must feel like losing your dog.

and im on the fence on if i would rather have the camera on the bike, or on the helmet.

i feel your pain when you look at your friend, and then at the bike, .but it went about as tame as riding off a cliff could ever go.

nice vid. i hope many people learn from it.

  • That sent shivers down my spine. That would be something to thank the heavens for.

  • After returning the next day we climbed down with 100 feet of tow rope rated to 2000 pounds just in case. Once we saw how little damage there was we climbed down to see what our full options were. We saw that once out the horseshoe canyon we were only about a mile from the main two-track road. We knew it would be possible to get the jeep closer to that spot then if we were to winch it back up to the trail I crashed off of. We lowered it down the last tier and walked it out to the jeep.

  • @TheAspenGreg Good to hear you didn't just leave it there.

  • I dont know if you are a praying man, but after that you should be. You are one lucky guy. Thank the heavens.

  • WOW! Glad you are ok!

  • that was crazy thank god u bailed off

  • How did you get it out or did you climb down and rode it out??

But man, you were one lucky guy that didn't follow it over the edge

  • He got to the next interesection about 5 minutes past where I sent my bike off the cliff, then he waited for a second or two and when I didn't show he came back, I maybe waited 10 minutes total...a nice time to reflect on my near miss!

  • Yeah, how long till your buddy came back??

  • Not a bad idea, maybe acerbis for handguards, or the company who made my skid guard! That's the american way, try to make money from a silly accident!

  • I won't be surprised if Husky calls you for rights to the vid. Make a kill if they do.

  • Wow …

  • Make/Model is '09 Husqvarna TE250 4 stroke. Amazing bike, and luckily it still is today, just about $80 for the repairs to get her back to near perfect, maybe a new exhaust can, thats about the only part that took a hit on the fall!

  • wow

  • Perfect - that's the bike to have - make and model please! Was it a Husky?

  • That blows, at least you and your bike were okay.

This video reminds me why we use radio communication when trail riding.

  • How long before your bud came back? Glad you are ok, I have been in the desert and it's a long way home without a ride. Stay safe!

  • oops

  • hahah nice video!!! A bummer.. but awesome! Glad you and the bike are okay!

  • holly shit your lucky!!!

  • Dude ......... that is crazy Lucky , like getting back to your truck and having Megan Fox

bent over the tail gate with no panties on smiling at you ...

    just saying

  • you are so lucky you did not go down with the ship... that would have brotken some bones. I was out on the same trail that day.

  • WOW, please tell me you stopped for a lottery ticket on the way home.

  • wow! Glad you didn't go with it!

  • I'm chuckling because you were safe but if you weren't, you'd have been left high and dry as they blissfully drove away. Two hours later they'd be sitting on the side of the trail, eating lunch, wondering when you were going to catch up.

  • Buh bye Husky.

  • Yeah, thats what we all thought when we looked at the video when we got home, only a few scratches on the exhaust can!

  • If you watch it in pause you can see in the big drop the bike landed with the wheels down, thats why there is little damage.

  • Hard 2 believe thats all that happened 2 ur bike! Figured it woulda been trashed!

  • i feel lucky just watchin this
