I'm curious if he got hurt. Like one of the first posts points out, this guy exposed a rock only a few feet under the snow. Incredibly reckless in my opinion. Also, he didn't "time" his back hitting the snow like someone else pointed out, the rush of air pushed his tips up and his body back, that's what really happened. There was very little skill involved. Balls? I don't know. I suppose you could argue that. I'd question it. If this guy didn't get hurt he should consider himself very lucky.

I wouldn't call it a "jump" since he didn't land it. I'd just call that a "drop" with a butt plant stop. Long fall, I sure wouldn't be able to do it. Still, he didn't land and ski away so I can't call it a "jump".

Sick drop! How did you measure it? :) 120 feet/ 40 meters Sounds correct though. 2.6 sec airtime, and some downward-speed when he goes off the cliff. Without any downward speed at takeoff it would be aprox 33 meters or about 100 feet, and if we say he has a vertical speed of 3 m/s or roughly 10 km/h at takeoff it should be aprox 40m or 120 feet drop. But did you measure by a rope or something? :) Siiick anyhow! :D

If any of you who say anybody would of stomped it obviously do not ski. Because it is not possible without breaking your faceopen or having your shins go out your knees to land a cliff bigger than 80 or 90 feet. Especially not 120 feet. Big mountain is more of a mind set than skill. You do have to have skill just not techinical skill in park. The difference is big mountain you fuck up you die, park you fuck up you break a bone or just loose a ski or two.
