O'Reilly might not like Olbermann and Maddow, but both are far fairer and balancer-er on the left than O'Reilly is on the right.
But Maddow is different than the two of them. She is far closer to an actual journalist whereas no one would ever question whether O'Reilly and Olbermann are commentators, which is just blatantly obvious.
That is far more debatable, but I don't think anybody could really deny that Maddow is fairer than either, even if you disagree with her liberal politics. She is far more civil and factual than either, and tends to come to interviews armed with valid facts and points instead of brow-beating opinion. I recall Obama telling us that unless the Stimulus Bill was passed -- and passed quickly -- we would risk running unemployment above 8%. It passed -- and so quickly most in Congress didn't have time to read it -- and unemployment is nearly 10%. Add to that the inredible debt it has added to the country; debt we maybe monetizing.
Obamacare might pass by EOY. Sure hope not, but it's not an accomplishment 'til it happens.
So, one failed bill and one incomplete. What else you got?

And as far as reading the stimulus bill, I recall the republicans pushing the {atriot Act down everyones throart without their ability to read it. I don't blame Obama for this nightmare that started under Bush's watch. He inherited a nightmare, and maybe he's trying to repair the damage done by Bush & Co. too fast, but that's another opinion. The unemployment rate is tied to the economic conditions. Should I remind you that even though the banks were bailed out, they still refused to loan any money? That just exasperated the situation even more. And WHAT bill has failed? You're not much of an investigator, Dave. You're just right rhetoric.

Of course you don't blame Obama. You have already shown that you just want to bash Bush. Regardless, it was Obama's Stimulus Bill signed by him. If the bill failed to include language regarding the use of money given to banks, that falls on Obama. Or is that someone else's fault too? The Stimulus Bill is a failure. It has not prevented the increase in unemployment as we were told it would; not turned around the economy; and increased the deficit. Therefore, a failure. You see a success?

O'Reilly might not like Olbermann and Maddow, but both are far fairer and balancer-er on the left than O'Reilly is on the right.
But Maddow is different than the two of them. She is far closer to an actual journalist whereas no one would ever question whether O'Reilly and Olbermann are commentators, which is just blatantly obvious.

That is far more debatable, but I don't think anybody could really deny that Maddow is fairer than either, even if you disagree with her liberal politics. She is far more civil and factual than either, and tends to come to interviews armed with valid facts and points instead of brow-beating opinion. I think if you didn't agree you probably just don't like her politics...
Olbermann's fairer is a political choice for me. His politics has facts more on his side, by default makes him fairer.

Like, honestly, I find O'Reilly and Olbermann to be equally abrasive and bloviating. They're equally loud, obnoxious and opinionated.
Curiously O'Reilly debates people against his point of view far more often than Olbermann, who is in more of a bubble...but O'Reilly treats his guests so poorly...always denigrates and mocks them if they disagree.
However, Olbermann's truth to bullcrap quotient ishigher than O'Reillys, and that's cos O'Reilly has to stretch the truth more to fit his politics.

It seems that I have difficulty watching Olberman and Maddow without them stretching the truth or flat out lying.
Perhaps they are making mistakes, but I don't think so. All three of them just grate my nerves with their attitudes too - Maddow and Olberman more than O'Reilly though.

Well, I could make a damning case against O'Reilly far easier than against either Olbermann and Maddow when it comes to lying. I think it is almost a guarantee that O'Reilly fabricates a lot, LOT more than either Olbermann or Maddow.

was the first thing that came up. I'm sure you can find many instances, but, believe it or not, when I am unfortunate enough to see a clip of Keith I don't keep a journal of his lies.
Here's a tip for you kiddo - just because someone pretends to be outraged doesn't mean they are being honest. In fact, that sort of emotional appeal is a common tactic of con-men no matter how many "sirs" they use.
