If you listen really closely you can hear a woman chanting hey yah hey yah hey yah underneath the mans voice. Her voice is so beautiful.

This song is beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. I'm a European American, we have been so evil to these people. I'd rather be one of the 10s of millions of slaughtered Native Americans fighting for what humanity should be living like.

As connected as technology has made us to each other, it has totally disconnected us from our mother Gaia. Earth. ;(

This video is uplifting i too stand and raise my arms and see my ancestors around me and i get this tingling feeling through my body from head to toe . I,m part Cherokee ,but was raised the white mans way all my life, I always felt connected to my ancestors and i never denied being Cherokee. Now i want to learn my true language,beliefs, and ways of life. I pray that the great spirit shows me the path to my people.

Remember back in those days, I think France, Spain, and England were the super powers. One was trying to get ahead of the other.

Tonk - The reason why Columbus was great was that he sailed to a distant land (which he though was west indies) and everybody laugh at him since most of their thinking was that the world was flat. However; when trying to find the west Indies he instead found a island in the caribbean sea (if I remember correctly). So i.e. thats what made him so famous.

I want to thank you for posting some of the most beautiful music on youtube!!! I am Cherokee and Choctaw. My grandmother was born on a reservation in Oklahoma. I am currently researching my native background and recently went to a local pow wow. It made me very proud to see my daughters watching the dancers with amazement. Thank you---as I listened, I was transported to a beautiful scene with a bright, full moon shining down on an open field surrounded by mountains. I was a brave, and I danced and sang to the great spirit in gratitude for the wonderful night. The stars were so bright, and my companion was playing the flute by the campfire. The firelight reflected off the mountains that were behind us, and I felt so free and alive! Awesome journey!

When I say Native Americans, I mean from both North and South American indegenous peoples and tribe therefore; sometimes I may mix S. American music with N. American Native art.
