I have seen a lot of corlis engine running,setting cold in old steam plants waiting to be busted of for scrap not a good sight

finally something that i know what it is. I love this thing im a member to cedar valley engine club and this is one of my favorite. I will upload my vid of the info sign to this and add it to yours as a video response.

It was used as an air compressor for many years at a tractor manufacturing facility. The compressed air was used to run power tools all over the factory. In the 1970s, it was taken offline and modern air compressors were put in its place. These modern devices were not as efficient and were prone to breakdowns, so they fired this ancient beast up again and it ran until the factory closed.
