Thank you for this review. Funny enough I too was turned away from 2 different Chanel counters until one lady took the chance and put on the double perfection matte powder in 160 Sepia and it matches me really well. You are lighter brown like me and even tho we aren't super light skinned we are not really dark either so it is sad that they make an assumption and turn us away.

From what I see the foundation looks ok on your skin tone but if you're not 100% satisfied you can always return it. No point in keeping a $60 foundation if it's not up to par for you : )

Girl it looks SO GOOD ON YOU. I got it more or less recently and I really enjoy it. I feel like any new release by Chanel is hyped up to some extent and that may have to with why people are just giving it an ok rating. I PERSONALLY think-after using Armani Lasting Silk, Chanel Vitalumier Aqua, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra ext- BACICALLY quite a FEW expensive foundations- it is 100% absolutely up to par in terms of quality, lasts, looks da bomb- i encourage you all to get samples.

I heard these oxidize, did you try samples first? Some people actually took the shade that is one step lighter because of this.

Thanks for the review. Your videos would be better if you didn't chew or suck on gum when talking. It's distracting and takes away from your presentation. You're a pretty young lady and your glasses are nice!

I love the foundation, I was also matched to 114 Ambre as I still have a slight tan but I'm think'n 94 for the winter. Just stopping through, LOVE your glasses!

Thanks for the review. I may bypass and get Matchmaster. Btw I don't think Chanel was just including Black people. They were thinking Black, Asian, Hispanic, Indian etc. Quite a massive amount of potential revenue by including most of the world which is a lot darker than it is white.

Ambre 114? Oh no dear that is too dark for you I had the SAME PROBLEM. I never thought Beige Ambre 64 would match me but it does. Also Ambre 94 works too. It's all about applying it and letting it set because when you look at it, the color looks so wrong but it is GORGEOUS I guarantee it. Return that shade and go lighter:)

Hi have you tried any of the ambre beige shades? I am a a nc 44/45 and beige ambre 44/54 was a good match for me. Someone else I know is a nc50 and the beige ambre 64 worked well for them. I initialy ran to the ambre shades but beige ambre matches so much better.
