With that said, the profit margin in used cars cars is insane. I call for federal regulations on the mark up of USED vehicles. I know we have the Lemon Law in place, but, come on...

The car is most likely worth a little over 2000. They always mark up prices for 2 reasons. Oe reason being that a car that is more expensive appears to be of better quality to a consumer. And second reason being is so when they chop over a grand off the price it looks like you got an amazing deal even though they are still making a bunch of profit.

i only know from personal experiance. Christmas shopping and a store said they were only accepting credit and debit for their gift cards. Well, i only had cash and i was so pissed. I went as far as calling the US Tresury and they explained that they can ask for anything they want for a product, it doesnt have to be cash.
