"I think I have all the parts to fix it"............................I tell my wife the same thing when I come home with a crashed heli sack. As luck would have it though there is a flower shop right next to the local hobby shop. She gets roses while I get the parts I "already have to fix it"
just got a bargin on one of theese the heli came with every thing but sevros. it came with spare parts aswell i got it for £10 from a guy at the local model club :D
oh dear got the fp still learnibg to fly but doing better than i thought i would hope i dont end up doing this lol how long did it take you to learn to fly?
If you fly, you'll eventually end up doing that. :) I'm still learning to fly. ;) I had basic hovering tail-in down in a few weeks. It takes months/years to really get good with helicopters. And I still crash.
i mastered the lama v4, i have a honey bee cp2 on the way, i hope i dont break it like this. i might just keep it in the box because i dont know how to fix them, glad you and your wife had a laugh out of it. oh i 1 lost a lama in the trees.lol
"oooh" ^^ ... my girlfriend filmed my last flight with a belt cp, but in the interesting moment of the crash, she leads the camera to the ground and said "ohhh", too ;-)...so i cant see it twice again ;-(
I like your attitude about it. At least you didn't needlessly curse at the helicopter, or wind, or tree, etc etc... you accepted it was your mistake for pushing it too hard. My condolences on the loss, hope you go it repaired or replaced.
Thanks! When I was much younger I used to get mad when I crashed, but now I just shrug and accept it as part of the game. :) It did indeed fly again after that crash.
Motor is the ARC 20-34-110 from Light Flight RC, ESC is a Phoenix 10, blades are Honey Bee King, trimmed shorter, and it has dual tail motors. Other parts are stock.
Man, that has got to be one of the worst micro-heli crashes I've ever seen. And OF COURSE, it hit the pavement not the grass. Always happens that way.

I am still flying that same frame! I used thin CA (superglue) to tack it back together, then I tightly wrapped the area where the boom connects with braided kevlar fishing line, soaked with thin CA glue. It's wicked strong. Just watch the thickness of your wrapping, so it doesn't interfere with the main gear. Hope that helps!
back luck dude, but don't worry it happens to us all,and if it makes you feel better i actually lost my heli and never found it in a big big corn field at least you still got yours and it will fly another day, good flyin though just put it down to experience keep postin the vids!!!!!!.
My girlfriend bought me parts for my 400 for Valentine's Day. Now that is a woman who gets it! =)

Save your money! It won't fly any better with the aluminum head, and that money would be far better spent towards a bigger heli.

i'm from malaysia the rural country, when i look into my local store here, the super glue doesn't state whether it is CA or not.
what is braided kevla fishing line?

CA or CyA stands for Cyanoacrylate, which is superglue. braided Kevlar fishing line is fishing string, made from braided Dupont Kevlar. It is very strong and does not stretch.
