  • The only line in this movie better than "Vegetable Soup!" was the kids shouting "WE FOUND IT, WE FOUND IT, WE FOUND THE GUY'S WEINER!!!" LOL!!! Ah, memories.

  • Maybe if they don't just use CGI for most of, if not all of the special effects.

  • It's good to go back to some of these 80's horror flicks...and think they're even worse than they were back then.

  • @TomLinkens

Do you think a reamke would be better? this movie was a stinker and needs to be remade as we need to see more of the monster and a better convincing critter.

  • I just rewatched this after not seeing it in so long since i was a kid, this sucked badly and a poor Jaws wannabe despite a great idea. Saxton was a saving grace of this terrible film and the creature was barely in it except for 2 minutes as it's a giant sea cucumber, i would love to see a remake of this done with a better monster and more fun plus more of the monster actually shown than trying to imitate Jaws's hiding creature till climax thing. I wish MST3K had this shown.

  • there's my mom getting it from a sand monster...

  • my mom is in this movie. she got eaten

  • this movies great. I wrote before about my mom... I was going through a really hard time then. I extrapalated on some simple thing she had said about finance. sorry.

What more do you want :)

  • Little kid: "We found it, we found it, the man's weiner!!!" lmfao

  • completely retarded.

  • I remember watching this when I was in middle school.....it wasn't even scary, I just sat there laughing.

  • Looks like the trailer was filmed with vaseline all over the lens.

If you want a "monster in the sand" movie, the original "Tremors" is better.

  • THIS MOVIE IS SOOO BAD ITS GOOD!

watch it when your drunk or stoned with your freinds, and laugh your balls off at just how bad it is!!

  • @necroturky you can buy this at revenge horror dot com...look under "jewel box editions"...

  • @necroturky no problem.just thought I'd help out..

  • Always wanted to see this, gonna have to order a copy off of stumpy disks.

  • I saw the cover all the time in the rental place but never got it.

  • This ad used to scare the crap outta me when I was a kid. Now it's laughable! lol.

  • The guy at 1:58 looks like RIchard Simmons. Guess the monster likes to eat fruit!

  • i was 9 when this came out i remember me and my dad going to see it i remember being scared but looking back it sucked

  • man, this movie was awful.... a few years ago, my friends and i actually purchased it from the video store, just because it looked so stupid =p

"blood beach.... just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.... you can't get to it." hahahahaha!!!!

  • this film was terrible

  • the monster was a sea anemone

  • The Monster was a GIant Plant that lived under the sand. It was Hilarious.

  • yeah..there were hundreds of them at the end credits when they blew up the big one

  • What was killing people?

  • 1:20 It bit off that guy's wang! LOL

  • this really could've been GOOD, but from what i remember, it started looking like a sappy soap opera or something. that kind of character development can wait for the sequel.

  • i remember seeing this when i was 7...man i forgot about it...it freaked me out then...but now it seems stupid..lol...i miss the cheee horror films...

  • i seen this years ago, but what was the monster? People say a giant oyster, but i don't think so.

  • I am wondering the same thing what the monster was?????

  • 1:27 LMAO!!!

  • Quicksand with attitude!!

  • Oh it is'nt a bloody giant oyster !! It's more like that giant worm monster in Dune.

  • 2:49 I LOVE her delivery of this line, it's very John Waters!

  • You know, the same thing happened to me once. I was on this beach once and this thing pulled me under the sand. Then it spit me back onto the beach. Ain't that a coincidence?

  • This movie ROCKED! I loved it when it came out! I was sooooo scarey!

  • I saw this movie with 3 other school mates, we were on a day out and had caught a sydney harbour ferry across to manly pier, whilst there we decided to see a flick and Blood Beach was on, amazing how you never forget where you experienced things, anyway it was pretty scarry to me back then but ofcourse it looks cheeesy these days, it was the out not to long after Jaws, we were scared to go to the beach and into the water lol.............

  • Saw this in theater. It sucks.

  • "Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water, you can't get to it!" How fuckin' CHEESY! And if John what's his face is in it, it's WORSE than a B movie.

  • SANDWORMS!

  • Damn I remember seeing this back in the days on ABC as the late night feature..

  • Hahahahahahahah I was so scared of this as a child. It's so funny how you find stuff lame when you get older.

  • Was this a trailer or a spoiler? lol!!

  • New name: "WASPS struggling in holes dug by kids".

  • Terrible movie too.

  • Our teacher was talking about when she was watching this in a cinema, when the cat (i don't know when that was, I've never seen this...planing tho) jumped out and she screamed and the whole cinema stood up. lmao

    wish i was there XD

  • I remember watching this as a kid, too! Awful trailer but brings back memories!

  • This movie left an indelible mark on my brain let tell you. Watched it when i was a nipper and scared the hell outta me, those creature i thought were wierd back then, and the idea of being suck through the sand into the bloody maws of some unknown creature was just harrowing to think about when I was that age. Cheap, but fab stuff!

  • Yeh same here I was only about 7 when I saw this, scared the crap out of me that I never saw the ending, even to this day I near saw what happened haha! Always wondered... wow that was over 22 years ago hehe!

  • ROFLOL, This brings back memories. Possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. "Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water, you can't get to it." I remember laughing all the way through this and getting dirty looks from other movie goers. They were trying to capture the horror phenomenon of "Jaws." The closing scene looked like they placed several kitchen funnels in a sand box. Thanks for posting this. Fun to show my kids.

  • Stupid looking movie, but Burt "Paulie" Young rules.

  • isint it just a giant oyster?

  • terrible trailer

  • Hey, c'mon Rock, go pound that ugly monstah.

  • I saw this when I was 8 years old and I still remembered the title.

  • Where can I watch the movie online???? please????

  • I actually saw this in the theater.

Horror was in then. Burt Young was good with John Saxon.

  • as a uk resident it took me ages to obtain this in the uk as its not been realesed on dvd and only a few people have the ex rental vhs tapes which have become collecters items . the premise is excellent the setting in 80s sunny beach the fashioun the people . if it was remade today it wud be excellent as long as they dont change the creature as thats the star of the show . and makes great stars like jhon saxon and burt young secondry yes the star of the film is def the creature

  • the opening credits music and ending is very haunting . the end creditsd show that the creatures, offspring s have begun their bloody reighn of slaughter wat was left by the creature the offspring will continue to devour humans . it wud have made a great sequal sadly they never made 1 . the police arent too intersted and waste time eating hamburger or attending meeting while the creature continues to rip and kill victims

  • just bought this on dvd excellent the creature wen it is shown lives more to my expectations than i excpected . the creatures, shrieks sounds like a thousand large trucks screeching very frightning as it shreiks at the humans clearly displaying its anger and hunger for them

  • This movie is awesome. I used to rent it and watch it a lot back in the 80's when i was a kid. The monster kicks ass. Isn't it like an alien or something? I don't remember. All i know is this is one bloody (pun) good time.

  • Thanks for posting

where did you dig this trailer up?

  • Had it in my collection for years. In the mid 80's and early 90's I did quite a bit of trading back and forth with projectionists and collectors. These days there are hundreds of trailer comps on DVD available for sale but when I first started collecting it was a treasure hunt to get a certain trailer, TV spot or radio ad. I do get some help these days from my friend John who is a collector and projectionist as well.

  • This is the reason why DIOTD is the BEST channel on YouTube!! I haven't seen this much of Blood Beach in 27 years!! Thank you.

  • Cheesy 80's fun. The only good thing about that flick was that tagline, obvious rip off from Jaws "Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, you can't get to it" lol

  • YES!!!!!!

I haven't seen this trailer in years!

  • Bought this video from the local video store for a buck. Total crap.

  • You gotta tell me, man. What is the monster? Giant Sand Crabs?

  • Giant Oyster, if I remember correctly.

  • Giant Oyster? Wow.....i don't know how to respond to something like that.

    Thanks for telling me GordoTheManChild!

  • Giant oyster! lol.

  • I have this movie - and it IS funny, in a bad way.

    Thanks for the trailer!

  • this looks really unintentionally funny
