@SirCrushington Iwo Jima is a really small island in the Pacific and during WW2 it was the only place where US marines had greater number of casualties. So it's not like development team was lazy but rather the island looks pretty much like what's shown in the game. The island iteself is 8 square miles big and it took arround a month for US to take it over. It's also the place where the famous US flag was raised and I think that there are many statues of the event and pictures...

1943 feels more like BF2 if you have played that, with large maps and conquest (Air superiority too) BC2 if you ask me has got a more console intoxicated gameplay wich is more intense and on a little bit smaller maps.(Not like mw2 though alot larger)

I personally like BC2 most, but i'm variating which game i play. Somtimes BC2, sometimes 1943 and sometimes BF2. Hopefully BF3 in a while:P
